Even before my daughter turned 10 I started researching class locations and on line classes. We both did the on line then went to the field day it was good time spent together. That being said I do think it should be mandatory small price to pay to be able to hunt.

I have been trying to put in for hours keep getting a failure message anyone else running into this problem

Wow that sounds like you had a very interesting hunt very cool and congrats on a nice tom.

I used a 22 with a scope had her shoot hundreds of rounds through it. She now is 14 and shoots my custom 7 mm and can out shoot me she has harvested over ten big game animals she shot her antelope at 420 yards she has never needed more than one shot also. I love spending time with her in the outdoors she just killed her first turkey we will be trying for her first elk later this year.

There is so much country in that unit if you do have a lot of snow it will push those elk to the lower parts of that unit hunting should be much easier if this does happen. One year I was up there after a big snow storm I have never seen so many elk it was incredible opening morning we saw over 300 elk. My superintendent drew this tag I will be up there as well good luck to you.

I have heard similar stories I think these guys grew up that way and they think its perfectly normal to shoot a deer or elk when ever they want
