Auditor says AZ Game and Fish wasted $1 million

lol, don't take me too seriously, but still i see fish and game dudes driving the most luxurious trucks on the road, while fees go up again....i'm thinking... you have got to be kidding me! I'm not saying G&F is a corrupted organization on all levels, but i've seen some things in my lifetime that just make you go...hmmmmm. yes, i do think g&f should be all volunteer, and under the authority of the county sheriff's office, kind of like some search and rescue depts. nobody should make money off of hunting, imho. the best things in life should always be free. you know how many friends i have that would love to put in for elk but just can't afford a tag? a bunch. it's a shame, really. Felt the need to chime in. While the opinions and frustrations being discussed here are respected, this logic is a little bit twisted and seems to be "misinformed". I'm hoping you are just somewhat jokingly ranting... I hope you understand that there is a little bit more to the Game and fish dept. than writing tickets and sending you a deer tag in the mail... Things such as conservation, management, research.... A department as large as this, dealing with so many various species and systems could not be effectively run by volunteers and unfortunately I have a feeling that the county sherrifs office managing our state's wildlife would not bring your dream of 6 deer tags per year to fruition. Well maybe 6 tags but at that rate there wouldn't be 6 deer in the state to shoot. While i do agree there could be things done differently... As in any form of state or federaly funded agency, what you seem to think would solve the "problem" would most certainly do the opposite. Then again, maybe if sherrif arpayo took over the G&F we would start seeing 220 inch mule deer in pink undies in every unit in the state... At $10 a tag... limit of 4 per year... Yeah, actually i think we may have something here! LOL again, friendly chatter and just my .02

Got creative with this years skulls

Dug up the skulls from this winter, built a shelf out of an old pallet and here she is.... next time i'll remember to keep track of the teeth

Got creative with this years skulls

It was a pretty simple process, trim the bulk of the skull meat off. I left the head in a bag to get a little juicy, not too juicy or the skull and teeth will decay in the ground.Just enough to get stinky... Then burry the skulls, get them deep if possible to avoid critters, cover the skulls with about 2 inches of dirt and place a board over them to avoid damaging with shovel when digging up. I left mine for about 4.5 months and they were completely cleaned. I simmered them just for a few minutes to loosen up the dirt and then cleaned them with a peroxide mixture. I liked the natural look so i did not bleach.... I recently boiled my pronghorn skull without burrying and got similar results... Although if you are not in a huge hurry, burrying was a little easier, cuts out all the meticulous picking and cleaning with tools after boiling. Hope this helps

    Help with pronghorn sheath removal

I have tried some basic methods with mo luck. The sheaths are loose enough to twist a little around the bone but will no pull loose. Does anyone have any tricks for removing these things while still preserving them as best ad possible?

Vizio 50 inch LED smart tv "unopened"

I have a brand new un-opened Vizio E Series LED HDTV 50 inch 1080p. This T.V. is the smart series including built in wifi and available apps including netflix, amazon, youtube, pandora etc... Suggested retail is $650 plus tax i am looking to sell for $625. Save $25 on the T.V. but take into account the additional $60 you would pay in taxes. I feel that this price is fair for an un opened Vizio but am open to offers. Need a new bow this month more than my wife needed a T.V. Text is best way to get in touch 602-3one8-2187

If only i were that resilient... Personally i would never wait in line to save $50 on a black friday t.v. I'd rather wake up from my thanksgiving slumber, continue my holiday buzz and avoid getting trampled by the rabid mobs at walmart. No black friday mark up here lol just prioritizing before the holidays

WTT for bow/optics bang boom crash

I've got a fever and there's only one cure...more cowbell baby! My kid has the same fever...he's been talking about a cowbell for months. If you were closer to Tucson I might take you up on that...local shop has a couple used cowbells cheap enough it wouldn't be worth the drive. I know what you mean on the pedal...it will probably help you with the sale on CL as well as keeping the cymbals with it too. I knew it was a stretch but thought I'd ask. yeah you can usually find them pretty cheap... this one is ultra special though, it really brings out the foot tap in people lol. If you don't find what you need just let me know, pay the $6 shipping and i'll just send it to you

WTT for bow/optics bang boom crash

It's a long shot but someone out there has got to have a son/daughter that wants to be a rockstar and drive mom and dad crazy or just simply can't let go of that child hood dream to be like Tommy Lee. That being said, I have about $2500 (new) worth of drum equipment that I am looking to sell/trade in order to fund my hunting habits, I,m not seeking $2500 worth of stuff by any means.. just let me know what you might have. It is all higher end equipment and in good shape. Specifically looking for any of the above, RH bow, Rifle scope, Spotting scope. Can send pics if interested. Thanks! WTT for bow/optics bang boom crash

If it's for the kid I will just give you the cowbell. I would like to keep the pedal with the set, those DW 5000 retail for $400 so if I end up selling the kit on CL it will help. But I would consider cymbal, pedals, stand plus cash on my part if you had something I could use for trade. Right now I am in between Prescott, Flag and Kingman
