  5. I was planning on going to Cali with the family this year for summer vacation. We've decided to make other plans and doubt we will ever venture west again. California's going under with all their beloved illegals. They can have all ours for all I care. I hear that's were there headed on account of 1070. Good bye, you won't be missed!!!

  8. I wish the students would have stayed at school and called the bluff. Suspension over an American Flag T-shirt? I would have liked to see that one! It's time to get off the fence and FIGHT for America.

    Boycott "Los Suns"

Read the bill..... Mexican Americans I KNOW are in support of this bill and know they have nothing to fear at all. "Ethnic cleansing" WHAT A JOKE!!!!! HOWEVER, I'M IN FULL SUPPORT OF AN ILLEGALS CLEANSING. God bless America.... I believe that taking a stand in favor of America and all of it's legal citizens is long overdue.

  11. Montana Bear Tragedy This is a very sad story about a bear. Everybody should heed the warning to not feed wildlife because they become dependent and cannot forage for themselves anymore. This is such a tragedy to see what they have done to our country's wildlife! The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect US wildlife . . . Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democrat Party, as they have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance. This photo is of a Democrat black bear in Montana nicknamed Bearack Obearma.

    Illegal Immigration Refrom

"Go after the business men that hire these guys? Are you crazy. Show me one white guy that will work in 120 degree plus weather and have a smile on his face for $7.00 / hour. Not you!!! If so call me, I bet you wont last 2 hours. How about giving us business owners a chance to legitly hire these good working guys with out sending them back every 6 months for another group. If we dont hire illegals everything goes up including your HOA fees. The point is Illegal Immigrants will work harder than most white men for cheaper. Illegals will also do most jobs that white guys dont want. Please prove me wrong I am hiring at $7.00/ hr you can start tomorrow." THESE STATEMENTS ABOVE REALLY BURN ME UP! I understand the need for a temporary worker program for jobs that American's might not want to do. I run a SMALL drywall subcontracting outfit. I DON'T hire illegals and it is mandatory to be able to speak English. I pay a competitive wage so I can find good guys. All these excuses being made are just BS! Secure the border, YES on 1070, fine people who hire and rent to illegals, must show valid ID to vote PERIOD. TAKE ACTION NOW!!!!!! This is our country, it doesn't belong to Mexico!!!! All Americans unite (black, white, yellow, brown, purple, green and I won't leave out pinkish) It's time to take back our country!!!!!!!!

    Tree Stand

Deerhunter, Hey, I was just playing around last night. I didn't want to come across as an a hole, just making a sarcastic funny bro. On a second note, no reason to put stand up now (your just increasing your odds of theft is all that will achieve). They will never notice your stand, only movement while you’re in it. Deer don't tend to look up in the trees. SCENT & MOVEMENT are your biggest enemies using a stand. I put my stands up 2 to 3 weeks before season. Try to be at least 20 feet up, I prefer 25 or more. The higher you are the easier it is to draw your bow undetected and I believe it helps with dissipating your scent. Try to set up a shot of 20 yards or less (less chance they will jump the string) and for rifle I would go back 100 yards or more (it's all about the scent factor). Face the stand north to prevent a beat down from the sun. Try to pick a tree that is leaning south just a bit, it will be much more comfortable to sit in if you can lean back a bit, also a branch at head height for your bow hook and/or gear works well. When I walk into my stand I bag my clothes in my pack until I'm getting close. I change, spray down heavily with Primos dirt scent and bag my walking clothes, spray them and put them in my pack. If you plan on trying salt, you can set up a very close shot from high above. Use rocks and down tree branches to ensure the deer will likely be in a position that is favorable for a bow shot. Sight in your bow from a roof top or your stand before the hunt, it will probably need a 5 yard adjustment to compensate for the downward angle. Also if you not using a ladder stand you can tie a rope to your stand and use a tree limb to hoist it up and have a friend hold the rope or tie if off. Much easier to mount your stand if you’re not supporting the weight of the stand while you’re trying to mount it. I always use a harness, once you use it a few times they are no big deal at all. One last thing, try to set everything up so you can shoot while sitting down. There is much less movement if you don't have to stand up. Hope some of this helps, good luck on your bow hunt and shoot straight Justin

    Life size javelina

This is one example my taxidermist Bret sent over. I like it a lot, but would like to see a few more mounts. One of the things I like really about this set up is that I think you could place him high or down at floor level on the wall. Thanks for the ideas, I'm hoping I can get a few more pics to help with my decision. In my trophy collection, I have one mount that I regret the pose choice I made and I DON"T want that to happen again!

    Life size javelina

I checked out their photo gallery earlier today before posting. They had a couple of neat mounts, not many to look at though.
  18. I think something like "The Grey Ghost" rather than the scientific name would be really cool. Also, I agree with the fronts needing to be smaller and more of a chest logo.

    Cody's Coatimundi

Cody left, Dillon right I only had a day and half I could get out to try and take advantage of a left over pig permit. The outcome was even better than any ol pig could have been. My two sons and my friend Tracy got to our first glassing spot just a tad late and little did we know what an outstanding day we had ahead of us. My youger son Dillon was able to glass this lone coati up from about 1000 yards. The only rifle we had was a 300 win mag and he's still a tad shy of the big guns, so my other son Cody jumped on the oppurtunity to put on the stalk. I thought it was a little crazy considering how far out he was, but Tracy volunteered to take him and I agreed. Dillon and I stayed glassing for pigs while they put on the stalk. Amazingly enough, altleast a half hour later when they were starting to get in close, he had only gone about 10 yards. Tracy took his time and made sure Cody had a good rest and was comfortable with the shot (Thanks T, you da man!!!). Cody was able to connect on his first try from 178 yards and D and I got to watch through the binos. He's 3 for 3 on making good shots on animals. Cody is turning out to quite the shooter for sure. As if that wasn't enough to make the day a success, we managed to glass up 85 coues deer, 5 goulds all bearded, 1 fox, and 5 coyotes. Oh ya and 1 coati......

    Anyone From PA

I'm not from PA, but my girlfriend is. I've bowhunted the last three years in PA and will return again this year. I'll be going for the beginning of the rifle hunt this year for about 8 to 9 days (dates however not set in stone). My girlfriend Colleen said we'll be close to you. Her family lives in Grove City. I really don't have a place to rifle hunt yet, only access to a couple areas to bowhunt. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any BIG bucks yet. I have however fallen for PA and will continue to return. It's just a whole different world in Grove City. When are you planning on going? Rifle or bowhunting? Justin
