Amanda could call this new website "The Green Zone" LMAO

I certainly wasn't implying don't shoot smaller animals, to each his own. I finally drew another archery bull tag and I will shoot anything on the last day for the meat. I was just saying it's ok to go home empty, there's no shame in setting goals and sticking to them.

Awesome video!

I certainly understand someone who is a stranger in a strange land hiring a guide, but for the life of me don't see the reward in hiring one when you hunt in your own state. I consider myself a trophy hunter, but we ALL enjoy the heck out eating wild game and I find a huge sense of pride in doing so as well. I don't think there's any shame in going home empty if you were trying to harvest a biggun and I feel that lots of guys shoot smaller animals because they will feel inferior in some way if they come home empty handed. I normally set my goals high, hold out and then as the hunt is winding down, lower my standards. I also would be sickened a bit by a guy who hired a guide to kill a whopper and then let it go to his head. I hang out will all DIY guys so I don't run into this scenario though.

Heard about this problem from a friend last yr. Him and his son hiked their butts off and found nothing but quad tracks. DISGUSTING INDEED!

The almighty Unit 9 Early Archery Bull for me!!!!!! whoop whoop...... My youngest son also drew an elk tag. Unit 10 Late Rifle Bull for Dillon!

If you look closer, he already has a crude string set up clearly designed to grab those antlers!

Truly unbelievable! If I was in your situation, I would be heartbroken and mad as heck. I'm glad you were able to get your antlers back, despite of how it all played out. -
Has the buck you were hunting reappeared on camera since your hunt ended? I was wondering if this buck was him.

Those turned out really nice Tony

Ha that's funny Josh. She did a little mud work at the new house. I tried to keep her in the closets lol.... She skimmed and textured quite a few of em actually

T, your not allowed to d bunk my findings. Same to u Amanda. LoL oops I retract my previous post about the knock off coverts.
-
Well I haven't heard of people having this problem but I'm sure u can send it back. I noticed Cabelas has bushnells that looked identicle to the coverts. I assume covert sold bushnell x amount of cams and let them put their name on them. Reason I bring this up is the reviews were pretty bad on Cabelas website and they were on clearance.

DB, Are you speaking from experience? ha ha ha Basser, I forewarned Colleen about my obsessive addiction to hunting and in all fairness she was caught off guard with what that actually meant. But, she understands I must bring home meat for family. LOL I spend about 30 to 60 days a year in the field and manage to run a small business and be the best father I can be to my kids. If I was a single rich guy with no kids it would definitely be more like 6 months + in the field. When I'm not out there, I'm usually talking or dreaming about being out there. Is there really an off season if your mind never leaves the field?

Sweet! I can't wait til I'm the one holding the lion up. Big Congrats!

Thanks Gents, No bassboat and a cute cuddly Lion-haired drawf rabbit instead of the bird dog. She also came equipped with the tools to tolerate me and my set ways. I assure you, that's worth a lot more than its weight in gold.

Thanks Amanda, I will definitely post some pictures of our wedding. Unfortunately, my parents and grandparents have passed on. So, We've decided to have the wedding in Grove City, PA where Colleen has an extended family and millions of friends she left behind to be with me. Justin

I loved watching both videos, I'm sure glad redemption came your way "fairly" soon. You deserved to be rewarded after showing restraint most could not on the first video. Nice job on a beautiful first bull
-
In case you haven't noticed, my butt's so big it needs to have 2 Ts in it.
-
The use of bait and cams can be extremely rewarding but not necessary any kind of guarantee on a successful harvest. I strongly oppose any baiting ban

Hey Ang, Congrats on your awesome hunt. I just love the pictures you guys took of your hunt. Next year I'm going for sure!

Happy Birthday Mike!

This video has nothing to do with fairness and everything to do with ethics. Not only is the shooting skills some of the worst I've seen on video. It also seems that which way the animals are facing isn't even the slightest concern to the hunter. The video is a shameful reminder of what some people do in the field. Fairness is something the anti's talk about IMO.
