Where has the common sense gone? Here's a quote from an employee and a discussion involving a senseless mistake he made on the job site. I told him, it was simply common sense and it should have never happened. His response: "What you fail to realize is that what may be common sense to you, may not be common sense to everyone else". A classic quote I will remember for the rest of my life. Again, where has the common sense in this country gone too?

Time well spent! That pig does look big. I'm guess taking a pig with the use of crutches doesn't happen very often. Congrats to you both.

Wife's first hunt, first animal and my daughter's 2nd Javelina

Colleen is grateful for all the kinds words. Thanks for checking out our first adventure, one of many I hope. Day one of the rifle pig season gave us bad weather and bummers out in the field. We'll just leave today as "a bad day hunting is better than working"! Going out tomorrow morning to lend a hand and I hope our luck does a 180 for sure. There is a cat curse among us. Big ones, small ones, longs tails or short, they all have our number! -
Pretty sure I saved some hard-horned pics of this buck. He is a pencil thin big buck! Found some of his friends sheds, but not his.

I would guess road will be closed for most of the morning. Might call the road closure number for Pima County early tomorrow morning. Wouldn't mind taking my boys up this weekend after a couple rifle pigs hit the dirt

I will send in a check for Colleen and I this weekend Thanks -
Every year there are bad stories involving debit cards. Credit card is a better route, when draw time comes around I will call and note the account to accept ALL charges. Good luck to everyone in the draw.

Very cool you took Miles, T left that part out. Congrats Frank. I'll be taking Wifey out again this weekend. Can't wait!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there huge tax breaks for grazing cattle? Seems simple enough, hold the tax breaks for ransom. We already pay to pay in the form of tax breaks.

Somebody is gonna snatch this up, guaranteed accurate out to 120 yards! Good set up -
I've put my heart and soul into finding a wounded animal of trophy caliber before, it's the worst experience a bowhunter can go through..... Not finding the animal stays with you forever. Good luck on the last leg of your journey.

You can put a first choice and then skip to 3rd choice. You can only get into the bonus pass on choice 1 and 2 not 3, 4 or 5

What's next G&F??
gotcoues replied to ShutYourLib's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
AZHOUNDCRAZY..... You must be crazy, as you sit there and throw master baiters under the bus, you must know the use of dogs could easily be next. I would think a houndsman would support his fellow hunter even if it's not "his thing". I guess when dogs are next on the chopping block, everyone who isn't interested in hunting with dogs shouldn't be concerned about you losing your freedoms. On another note, why would G&F want archery to go to draw? Most archers apply for rifle tags as well. We get double dipped on deer, why would they ever give that up? -
I love the idea of antler restrictions! I love big bucks, the more the better. Unfortunately, what is right for me is not necessarily fair for everyone else. No on antler restrictions. BUT.... I think certain units managed for large bulls and bucks is good. Less general hunts for elk in 9. Maybe give out a lot less buck tags on the kaibab. The 36s' have lots of left over tags. Shut one of em down for a few years. Limit the tags to trophy hunts only. 150 Dec tags, 150 Jan tags and 150 Feb tags! Now that would be a coues hunters dream to get those!

Your better off with spot and stalk mule deer than coues to get the ball rolling. Pepe, I enjoyed your post thoroughly. I believe a "Thank you Lord" is certainly appropriate if you just slipped an arrow into any coues buck, let alone a big one!

Loved the story from start to finish! Congrats on your 4th and your first archery animal. Way to go!
