  1. Giving away frame only without twin mattress or futon pad. My son outgrew the bunk bed and we got him a standard futon frame for his futon mattress. Frame is in good condition and comes with hardware. Located in N/W Tucson at Twin Peaks Exit. I can text pics, pm me with your number.

    Shoe Tree

I am strongly opposed to un-authorized memorials. People putting up crosses or markers where there loved ones have died. This, in my opinion, is the same. It should all be cleaned up by state or federal officials. In Tucson we have these old junky ten speeds painted white and put out where bicyclists have died. They are the ugliest things I've ever seen and I'm disgusted they are allowed to be in place. Bury your loved ones and buy a nice head stone. The general public does not care to know where your loved one has passed away IMHO. Imagine if, where anyone/everyone who died had a marker placed there.

    Angle Compensating Range Finders

Double check the "deer sized target" on that vortex. If I remember right, I didn't go with that one because it was too low. Very pleased with my Leica, but it hurt a tad on the price. Also, check out strelok. Very impressive shooting app and it's free. It will work well with whatever you decided to buy.

    Disturbing Trend on CWT.com

There was once upon a time when I dreamed of antler restrictions, now I realize that was selfish on my part and to each his own.

    Disturbing Trend on CWT.com

Your "8 point or better" is absolutely the same as someone holding out for a 110" IMO. As long a person goals or desires is for them and them alone, I see no problem at all with it. Most of the trophy hunters I know would be tickled to death to help a beginner take a forky or their first deer. My personal opinion about coues deer is a dink is no challenge on a rifle hunt and I personally could never be happy dropping the hammer on a small deer towards the beginning of the hunt. Hunting for me is not about the kill, it's about the pursuit, the dreams of putting a monster buck in my cross hairs or in my peep sight. To me, the coues deer is king and big coues are some of the most beautiful creatures on earth. With that being said, the first medium sized javelina or better in my peep sight is getting a rage broadhead. No trophy hunt on the pigs for me. Different strokes for different folks is all good with me!

do all bucks get big with age

I have a coues deer deer on camera for 5 consecutive years. I have him in velvet for the first 4 and hard horned in the the last two years including this year. He has changed very little if at all. I guessed him as high as 110 in velvet which I think was too high. Hard horned he looks to be right over the 100" mark. He is a great example of a buck that will never quite be 110. 2009 He is the only buck I have successfully gotten on camera for that many years in a row that I know of for sure. I believe most bucks could reach the 100" mark if left alone, but don't really have a guess on how many would gross 110.

  11. I think that is a variety of the Clark's Spiny Lizard. Very common in Tucson.
  12. If it sounds like a violation, looks like a violation, smells like a violation, then it's probably a violation. Unless of course you work for the department, then it's not.

    Bonus Points for sale

I heard talk a few years ago that an individual might be able to acquire a bonus point in return for x amount of volunteer hours towards wildlife. Any system put in place to reward people with more bonus points will be taken advantage of by many, and I believe that system will easily be abused as well. I don't believe giving points is a good idea for rewards of for the purchase of something. I do however believe if you square them starting now with everything you have is a GREAT idea. My neighbor drew another early archery unit one tag this year, he also drew the same tag in 2011. Squaring bonus points would make being ONE LUCKY SOB much harder to pull off. You still have the lottery and everyone still has a chance, but the people who have been waiting the longest make it very very difficult for people to draw back to back low odds draw tags with very few points.

Arizona school in the hot seat

Proud born again Redneck is what I say to this. Rednecks have more fun! So kids can wear shirts with the Mexican flag on their shirts all day, really any flag for that matter, but a confederate flag is "off limits"? Can America just divide itself in half, have the Libtards go one way and Right Wing Extremists go the other?

    Another youth draw question

Yes, you just have to pay the larger amount if you send in by envelope. If they draw the youth tag instead of the regular, they will refund the difference.
