I have a couple other spots like this that produce. My other cams picture files are to big to post here. Unless someone nows how to, I'm all ears with no computer skills.
-
About every month when its wet and every two months when dry with softner pellets.
-
Its not a water hole. Its a salt hole with rain water. It's not even really in the pines but there is a few pines in the area. Its high desert about 4500ft. And I didn't set the date right either. I've used this spot for a while and the deer and pigs have made a pretty big hole
-
That should work fine. I use the softner pellets in a hole and pour water on it. That plus the rain slowly soaks it in the ground which makes it last alot longer. I only replenish every two to three months. I just posted a topic with my results of pure pellets.

If you would have left the javelina the lion would come back

water softner pellets works the best for me.

HAHAHA! I've had the same thing as Pine Donkey. Thought it was from a bear when I first walked up. I also had a guy turn my camera up to the tree branches and the next guy turned it strait for me. Good to know there are still good people out there.

Would be cool to see him finished out. Great pics

Just wanted to share the pics from my brother's deer. The trail cam shows the deer running off after the shot. He shot the deer right in front of the camera but didn't take the picture till it was almost out of view.
-
My sister in law killed a bull last year with the base towards the middle of its head like your first picture. When I boiled the head it had an old fracture that healed up behind the base. Hope you share more pics of that bull. I'd like to see how he grows.

Nice horns. Found alot in the burn as well. yours are alot bigger than mine. Glad to see you having such good luck
-
I have found 13 sheds this year. All black or with black streaks from rubbing in the burn. Including this huge set I mounted on an old skull.
-
Notice the white horn I found. It was in a bad burn with about 6 to 8 inches burnt out of the middle. It would have been a 7point

You are right! And Welcome to the forum. The bases on this buck are amazing! Guess I'm not allowed to say how big the bases are, since your using the deer for a contest. -
I was in a tree stand 200 yards away that mourning. Guess I chose wrong.
-
Notice the tree stand in the background. I posted this because everybody has trail cam photos that make them kick thier self in the rear.

Steve is one of my best friends and no matter how many pictures you take it doesn't do this buck justice.
