I have 2 great guns for sale. I am selling both because I do not use them anymore. $400 Savage model 110 7mm with a 3x9 scope about 10 years old but hasn't even had an entire box put through it one tiny scratch on the butt. $400 Remington model 788 22-250 with a 3x9 weaver scope. great gun 2 3round clips this gun was my first rifle and is a great starter rifle. I already scratched to heck for you so you wont have to worry about it. Please PM me if you are interested in either of these guns. I will post pictures tonight. thanks,

from a snake expert that is most definately a blacktail...What people commonly mistake as a timber are the arizona black rattlesnake's which are a subspecies of the timber...

That is true I have not looked at the link to see all of someones posts on CWT but I do occasionally on AZGFD and it is really sad that people feel that in order to boost there own selfesteem they must tear down anothers accomplishment, and it tends to come from just as Davidson said a few bad apples. A hunter who posts something on here for others to see is usually if not always very proud or happy with something they have done and for another hunter to be disrespectful or negative about it is sad. There are not to many true love of the land people left out there and those of us that are left need to stick together and build others up. To those of us out there that do tend to be sarcastic or negative please think about who you are getting your kicks from...some 10 year old kid who couldn't waite to have Dad post about his first deer, someone who shot something not quite as big as your own but a trophy in there eyes...We all work hard to earn our trophy and we should all understand and support each other in our efforts.

I personally think that this forum is great. I see very little if any negativity on it. However I do agree with you that if someone wants to be an A$$ they dont need to do it on here. I think Amanda has done a great job at keeping this sight an uplifting sight as opposed to many other hunting forums Ive been on. I do feel that there is plenty of room for healthy debate on CWT and I truly believe that is a good thing but we always have to remember to respect the opinions of others even if they are not our own. That being said Davidson is 100% correct there is no room for negative belitlleing posts on this sight.

Sounds like a dream come true! what I would give to hunt coues for six weeks straight!!! -
I was lucky enough to draw a December coues tag and thats all that I could think about. As the time got close I realized that the hunt started on the 10th and I had finals at ASU through the 15th. On top of that no one was gonna be able to go with me my wife was out of state at a wedding my dad was oumyt of state at my sisters graduation and all my buddies had work. I ended up heading out wednesday afternoon and shot this guy thursday afternoon!

So I changed my title because after checking out the post creed_az_88 made hes right. I ran into Steven the morning I killed this buck. the videos are the best way to tell that its him. Mason I tried to get Ryan to go but he "had to work"... typical excuse!! thanks everyone for your comments. Ill have to have Clay get me an official score on him after the 60 day drying period. And Steven will have to verify the area to know if it is actually Cedro mattman informed me it is illegal to hunt deer with a dog in the field. I was unaware of this but the dog never left the truck. I went on a backpacking day trip while he remained tied to the truck. thanks for the info mattman. -

The rest of the story is that since I ended up going by myself my wife required me to take my good for nothing bluetick to keep me company and safe... anyway I checked out some of my favorite areas wednesday evening and was very disappointed because all I saw were a handfull of doe and not even a spike. Thursday morning I woke up after hitting snooze half a dozen times, the sun was already begining to come up but it was no problem because I was in the middle of some of the best coues country in the state. I arrived at the point I decided to glass at about 10am and by 10:30 I saw deer. I woke up sick and I was ready to shoot the first thing I saw. it was a herd of 8 doe and pulling up the rear was a 90-95in 3point so I was shootin. well they were 400yds and movin so I ended up empty and continued to glass. around 11:30 I saw a few doe but no buck so I continued to wear out the ole swaro's and about an hour later I began to hear something. I began looking around first through the binos then with just my naked eye and all of a sudden I saw him step out from behing a bush and he began to rub his antlers on the tree. I knew he was big enough so I had to tell myself not to screw up again. the deer began walking towards me and when he was about 50yds I let a bullet rip from my .300 win mag and the deer just curled up. I was stoked but its hard to espress it when no one is with you and you have no phone service!! I walked up to him and saw just what I had done. I couldnt believe the antlers on this thing. so I took care of him and ended up making two trips to get him out that totaled just over 20mi. The stuff on his antlers is left over velvet that he did not get polished off. when we put a tape to him he scored right around 112-113. What a great hunt I had, I packed it up after just one day and headed home and to the doctor. thanks everyone for your comments. -
yeah I did oh and the normally dont shed when they are dead but Im sure that its skull plate is looking nice on someones wall. anymore questions?
