I'm using imr 4831 out of my Remington 700 30-06 with amazing results! -
Sooooo according to game and fish, it has to be manufactured specifically for cattle correct? Which a trophy rock says its for deer...

Hey everyone. I would like to get into the muzzleloader Scene and have absolutely no knowledge as far as they go. I would really love some input as far as a starting point muzzleloader that is accurate but won't break my wallet. Thanks for any help! -

Yeah but the muzzleloader only had 128 topics to 1200 in this one.... Some people don't look in both. Just wanted to cover my bases. Thanx -
Hey man I drew the same tag. If your interested at all lemme know, maybe get out and hunt together.

Yeah both of those fires are managed fires, meaning they are taking advantage of the strike to clean up some. The 6a one is basically done and finished the firing yesterday. Super low intensity for the most part and there were deer already running around in there. Doesn't bother them I don't think. And my buddy is on the Camille fire and he said they most likely aren't going to hit the 54000 acres.

Wish I was closer

Here is a pic. And this is a tiny buck too judging by the pic and the bucks I've been seeing. Crazy!

I am really new to reloading And I am curious how long powder will last once opened. Once I open an 8lb jug, how long do I have to use it before it will be bad? If that's even possible
-
How long is powder good for?

I have had this timney trigger in my rifle for a while now and love it!! I don't have a tool to measure what the pull weight is on the trigger and I wanted to lighten it just a hair but an nervous about going to far. So I guess I'm wondering if there is a way to know when to stop as to not over do it?

Awesome thank you very much lance! I appreciate it and that's exactly what I was looking for without knowing

Let me start by saying that this pig was totally alone and to be perfectly honest, I thought he was a normal 20-25 pound pig when we glassed him at a mile. And as I was about to shoot still thought he was normal maybe a hair small. 360 yard shot. This was my first rifle pig tag since I was like 13. I have been archery hunting ever since.

I don't know if it's just me, but in the last couple years things have been getting bad. I went out the last couple days and people are driving all over tearing the forest up no where close to roads. People cutting forest service locked gates so that they can get into areas and tear up the forest by driving all over the place. It's super disappointing to see the sport so far from what it should be. Greedy people that can't follow the laws and let everyone enjoy the sport. I'm disgusted by these choice people's actions. I wish sheds weren't worth money. Just needed to let out a quick vent.
