Wow, that's a long shot for a pigalina! Congratulations for sure. What's the rig/caliber? Is your chorizo recipe a secret? Sounds good!

Very cool! Congrats to Dan on his first javelina. Awesome that you're mentoring so many new hunters.
-
Congratulations to your brother, that's a big one! Kudos to you for not only helping him and others, but letting the sow walk too. Great ethics!

+1. Nothing is as good as a professionally hand-made call.

Outstanding! How wonderful for her and totally awesome shot! Congrats to her (and her Uncle)-love seeing kids get involved with hunting, especially when they're successful! The .308 does it again.

Welcome to the site Mike. Good luck with your elk hunt on the San Carlos. Let's see some pic's and the story on your New Mexico archery mule deer! Them's the rules ya know.

Thanks Carl! Yes, it was more fun with the bow, the stalk - in close, seeing it happen a lot slower, as compared to blasting it with a firearm, was neat! That Rage Broadhead did the job, hit it just behind the shoulder, 2 inch entry and a full passthru. I couldn't find the arrow, looked hard for about 1/2 hour. That was only the second time I had a chance to shoot my bow at a javelina, out of about 5 times hunting with it. I'm hooked for sure. Going out again this weekend with it for a javelina hunt in unit 29.

Great job on your hunt. Your write up of your hunt was both excellent and enjoyable to read. Very commendable to offer up some help to another youth hunter. It's nice to know there are young men like yourself out there making a difference. Kudos to you and your parents! Congratulations and good luck with your next hunt.

Awesome buck and excellent mount. I bet you're very happy to have finally got him on the wall - now you can admire it and reflect on your hunt from the past. Congratulations!
-
Good job on the varmints! I've got a new toy too, an AR-15 in .204 Ruger I haven't had a chance to try out yet. Are you using an electronic call or mouth call? Congrats on all the success!
