Well, San Carlos closed and hunts cancelled, but New Mexico is coming up! Bought my turkey tags the other day. Received an email from NMGF, apparently there's been hoax posts on social media stating NM has cancelled hunts- NOT true.

Nosler partitions. I've killed elk at 50 yards and at 300 yards. The distance thing is like the old adage, they are where you find them. 😉 -
What requirements to be considered a HAM pistol?

To be a legal for HAM hunts, the AR lower has to be made and marked as "pistol only" by the manufacturer. You can't put a pistol brace on an AR rifle lower, that would still be considered a rifle, and with a shorter barrel it would be an illegal SBR. -

Got my early hunt unit 27 tag in the mail yesterday. It's one of my favorite units, where I got my first bird, and many more since. Haven't hunted there in about 8 years, had been putting in for Gould's hunts exclusively until now. Anxious to get back out there!

Coyote Hunters, AR 15 Opinions Needed

I have used several different calibers and barrel lengths, longest shot on a coyote (with an AR) was 86 yards, same distance as I shot a javelina with a .44 Desert Eagle. Point being......shoot them with what you have, and like. 😎 -
