Don't ask me why my last post repeated. 🤔 So, after getting my second cup of coffee, I logged into my account to check my applications. Below is my screenshot. I obviously will be calling them Monday!! 😡

I put my friend and myself in for elk the other night, and me for antelope too. Sitting here this morning having my coffee, all of a sudden it occurred to me that I didn't remember getting a confirmation email from AGFD. So I checked my email account,.sure enough, no confirmation. Panic set in! Did I really "put in"? So I checked my bank account and saw the application fees were charged appropriately. What happened to their programming update where they'd loose your email address, or change things to not send you one like they've always done? Just hope they use my 20 bonus points when it all happens and give me tags!

Finally set eyes on my Arizona Gould's from 2018 and my San Carlos Apache Merriam's from 2019. Gould's mounted strutting from the roost. I asked if the Merriam's could be mounted taking flight from the ground. I've actually seen a bird do that. Well, they both turned out awesome beyond expectation. Can't wait to get them home soon.

To what end were this changes made? They still don't know my hunting license number, even though it's required and listed on all my applications. Poor programers IMO.

Surprised and saddened to find a young 2x2 coues buck dead at the edge of our secret swim hole. Must have slipped on the rocks and broke it's neck. No visible wounds, think it happened this morning. Was still chewing flora, as it was sticking out the side of his mouth. I took it up and over the ridge.

I need to be comfortable, with a back rest, so I use a Double bull chair. I also carry a light butt pad that I use on the chair seat, also use it to kneel on when dressing out game, soft seat on a boulder if chair can't be used, ECT.

4 of us drew 2nd choice unit 29 whitetail in late November. Thanksgiving in the woods.

Our group of 4 got tags 162-165, so we know we didn't get our 1st choice December hunt, because that had less than 100 tags. 😕

We were headed south on Hwy 188, 1 mile from Punkin Center and I saw some movement on the hill to the west. I stopped and made sure.of what I was seeing....a large cow elk! It stopped and watched us before trotting off. Spoke with a rv park manager, he said yes, there's a small herd that calls that area home. Weird seeing elk in cholla, prickly pear and saguaro cactus.

You shot him in the neck with that rig? 🕵

I did the same thing years ago, picked the .270 WSM because it's a real flat shooter.
