Ihave been in that situation too as matter of fact last year called game and fish got someone on the line they said about 2 weeks but yet the draw system was down and the results came out the next day,so when that happens its real close to finding out,oh and my dreams were crushed last year after the long awaited period,hopefully something good will happen this year,so hurry up game and fish.

for sure by june 1st,lol,heck what does it matter we cant hunt till earliest august anyways.

this past bull season in unit 6a i spoke to a game warden and he said that in the near future that 75% of forest service roads will be permanetly closed makin it a walk in basis hunt,and another thing he said that if you do harvest an animal and utilizing the roads that will be open,no more cross country driving to retrieve the animal all pack out.Does anyone know about this,if its true or not.

lions are a problem undoubtedly,but hopefully you can find a good ol coues buck in the next week if not your bound to see a lion.

I have seen 2 bucks before on the lower salt close to the bridge where the tubers go,and also a bighorn sheep ram,around the same spot,there has always been whitetail in the black mountain region in 37b ,they are also off the park link road in 37a,nd we have seen a couple in the white tanks as well,mingling with the mule deer.

yep very cool to see that an awesome crew of guys can put it all together,and what a great lifetime bull that colton shot,we had two tags and the last morning as the snow started to fly 11 bulls ran across the road in front of us while on our way to our glassing spot ,one guy had a running shot at a very nice bull but no connection.it was a tough hunt for us this year.kudos to the chasin a dream team,and all involved.

hello fellow hunters not askin for any advice dont even have a tag but i have been all around unit 6a the last couple months,i have been high and low and the elk seem to have disappeared i have seen maybe 15 elk in this unit in 2 months!I talked to a game manager and he said the herd was down 40% but that just dont seem right ,why so drastic in one year,just concerned,because i used to go out on any given day in that unit and see at least 20 to 40 head.what is your guys and gals opinion on this matter.

heck ya very nice buck congrats to your son for stickin it out and not leting the misses get to him,that happens to every single hunter.I think he may be possibly gettin a prize in the future from the big buck contest ,lets hope,congrats again well done.

i have one for you nice little forked whitetail wiyh skull on it but its a whitetail but basically its mule deer format pretty strait up no curve i can texted a pic to u if u want,just a little help to ease your daughters heartache,and yes a taxidermist can replicate off picture ,good luck man.

if you want muleys go to remer road which heads toward squaw peak all in there both sides of road is muleys 90% if you want muleys go up past tule mesa off the dugas road and from there on up towards the verde rim is mostly whitetail.IF you want a little more somewhat remote area go to 22 mesa headed to pine mountain way back i saw 2 juniors this weekend shoot a 5x6 muley and another shoot a real nice 90 inch coues buck basiclly in the same canyon about 500 yds apart....good luck ...dugas road will be pounded with hunters gettin out and glassin all the way up past tule ,then they will have to walk a bit to get to the edge of cuts and what not because its quite thicker in vegetation.if U WANT U CAN DROP OFF TOWARDS EAST VERDE RIVER ITS PREETY ROUGH GOIN DOWN REAL THICK TOO BUT SOME MONSTER WHITEYS IN THERE. .

was the right antler broke off on accident or is it a malformation ,just wondering because it looks crooked on the skull cap.

they need a few days to do the 19b fubar so i would bet they will have em up by manana by noon,its funny how we are all excited to see the results but yet we have to wait 6 months to hunt.
