awesome story and deer,i did the same on a 375 bull elk i was devastated but my taxi gotit fixed and you cant even tell,its all good bud.

yep when we were on the archery elk hunt this year up there we seen lots of deer and some real shooters like those ones it is fantastic the herd is doing so well there,it seems the mule deer are making big comebacks in most units too,but i am a coues hunter at heart,but someday i may go chase one of them big ol moss back floppy ears,its been 22 years since i have hunted them and i harvested a good one in unit 12b,vermillion cliffs,it was just too easy thats why i love chasing coues.

looks like the front leg on the left deer got shot clear off.

that is awesome,how honery our fathers can be at times tho ,i know my dad is the same way with me just got to make sure they are always right or else?nice head shot as well i am suprised the skull plate didnt break.

we were up there 5 years ago in december hunt and fossil creek was the ticket,however its like a 1st come 1st serve to get a good one outta there but lots of country,13 mile rock area is good too.

thats awesome way to get it done especially being sick in high altitude,congrats,thanx for sharing.B ack in the day one of my classes in high school was meat processind at gilbert high school and we would process wild game,anyways a hunter brought in a huge 8x8 on the early rifle hunt and he said the bull was limping real bad and could barely walk when he shot him,wel when we were processing we foung about 6 inches of arrow shaft with a broadhead stuck in the hip jint and the whole hind quarters were green spoiled meat so needless to say that bull was tough but would not have survived the winter.

i was up in 3c calling for a guy for 4 days the bulls did quiet down saturday moe rning when it was a bit cooler and cloudy,they are on a 2 day cycle it seems but i was hunting around aripine and the bulls were goin north in the morning bot 3am and goin south crossing the highway later in the day there are some monster bulls in that area we were in another part of the unit thurs and friday and my friend passed 18 to 35 yard shots on 340ish bulls i am goin back tuesday till the end it will be fired up in the next 2 days....good luck .

that last one i think is the biggest gill i have ever seen,them gills are some fine eatin fish too.

good unit but very tough hunt,due your homework,persistence pays off.

nada for me,oh well gunna havta settle for an out of state hunt....how in the heck does someone get lucky enough to get 3 rifle bull tags in a row..this system of bonus point draws is meeeesed up.

Myself noticed a large number of people that got hit on credit cards,and i wouldnt put it past game and fish doin like a 60 to 70% success rate for people that applied via credit card as it makes it alot easier on them not having to deal with checks and money orders,maybe they are tryin to let the public know in a certain way for in the future the majority put in for the draw using credit cards,just my thinking tho,dont know if that is even a possible scenario or not.

has the results ever showed up on the weekend.

saw this truck tuesday morning on loop 101 or could of still been i-17,anyways had a neat licence plate that said wtn4rut i believe
