Again the amount of moisture we get will determine you setup on water ,if its dry yes if its wet the deer will drink out of every nook and cranny they find that holds water

coues will typically start getting ancy in eartly to mid december but full blown out rut is generally early january .But southern arizona may be later than central az so i would start looking for scrapes and rubs as early as 1st of december and start grunting and rattling then to a little because you never know.

Hey Gino I know those racks are pretty sentimental to you, but you could sell those whitiies pickups or even the brownies on ebay for several hundred bucks since the coues are indigenous to mexico ,az, and new mexico,heck you could even get enough dough for a mexico hunt.Just my thoughts.

I grew up in st johns az then moved to concho az my dad worked for salt river project at the generating stations.We moved to the valley when I was 15 and I attended gilbert high ,graduated got a job at SRP as a meter reader did that for 5 years.Now married and live in camp verde az and my dad and I own clear creek vineyards and winery right on hwy 260.I great up here only 10 minutes away from great hunting and fishing,you get spoiled being able to hunt so close to home,this is a great thread going on here.

A few months ago a friend of mine was involved in a gun accident with a 25.06 ruger rifle. He apparently put a 7mm-08 round into the chamber of the 25.06. Upon firing the gun exploded into his right eye, blew off his shoes and threw him back 10 feet. He has had 2 operations on his right eye and may not regain full vision. I under stand that a smaller bullet will blow through the barrel, but this bullet fit into the chamber and the bolt closed very easily. The bullet is now stuck half way down into the barrel and the gun is in pieces. I was wondering if this could be a liability issue considering the rifel was able to chamber a larger bullet with no problem?
