It will all begin with an age restriction on alcohol and then a restriction on the age a person can legally drive a vehicle on public roads. Watch out, they are coming for us all.

I am looking for a Ruger MkIII Target stainless .22lr model 10103. I thought I was going to make the drive up to the Phoenix gun show this weekend, but could not pull it off. If you have a MkIII for me or are headed to the gun show and find one, please let me know. Under $400 would be nice. Gunbroker has a few for $440-470 shipped but I've seen too many in the past for less, so I am waiting and searching. Thanks. c. (two five six) 457-69fortyfour

Check out a SRT suppressed Ruger MkIII .22lr, or his Matrix auto pistol suppressor if you must go bigger. The quiet of his integral MkIII is amazing. With hi-velocity ammo, the sound is not much more than a dry fire. Doug at SRT is very good. http://www.srtarms.com/ Tell him Matt sent you. For very small, less expensive than a suppressor and more immediate route, you might consider a Ruger LCR22 with Aguila .22lr 60gr SSS. I believe that most ammo manufacturers load mag calibers to the max while most other non-mag rounds are loaded for more friend shooting, at least on the trigger end of things.

Nitemann, Tell me more about your XP. What did you start with and who did the work? I have fallen quite fond of the XP. Thanks.

Wow! Where is this? In the past two weeks I have seen three new deer kill sites while riding mtb or hiking. I think about getting the cats and coyotes responsible all the time now. -

This trial cam buck is what my buddy back at West Point, NY, was after, but he settled for another guy just a couple days into the season.

Curtis, where are you located? Thanks.

If bears are anywhere near the area they will find the food, destroy the feeder, eat the food, poop all over, and stick around to do it again. Most other animals will stay away the whole time. Let us know what you decide and how it turns out.

For sale: Eberlestock Phantom G3M pack, NIB, dry earth color, $330. Swarovski 8x32 EL binoculars, Swarobright, nearly new... outside on the deck twice, $1200. Thompson Center Triumph Bone Collector Black Powder .50cal Weather guard, camo, NIB, $500 or $730 with the mounted Omega 3-9x40. New Nikon Omega scope 3-9x40 BDC300 camo (currently mounted on the Triumph), $230. Nikon Omega camo scope 1.65-5x36 BDC250, NIB, $210. 2011 Strother SX-1 compound bow, 60-70lb, 29in DL, RH, camo, New. The SX-1 29in DL is slightly different than my 29in Hoyt Alpha Burner. $525. Cabela's Alaskan Guide 20-60x70 Spotting Scope with neoprene cover. I dropped it on day one back in 2004 (I think) and slightly dented the objective end. I was certainly not happy. Since then, it has performed well. It is quality built with Japanese glass. $200. I would consider a trade or sorts if you have a nice S&W M&P 15-22 PC or a dual-sport ~250cc motorcycle.

Cardboard makes a bad target. I have been using a different cheap solution... A feed bag jam packed with old clothes, towels and I think I have a sheet in there, then duct taped to keep it together. When the outside gets holey, I juest slid it all into another feed bag. It works very well stopping field tips and broadheads, although I limit BH shooting into it because I have to open it up and take out the stuffing to remove the BHs.

Sheds are cool. Where were you to have backpacks and trash? I thought that no way anything is carried past the Huachuca Mountains. We seemingly have all their clothes, backpacks and waterbottles. I cannot imagine that they have anything left after dumping it here. The amount of trash in our wilderness area is sickening.

Neat video. What was the bear doing just standing there for that few minutes? Did it backtrack when it left?
