Since the Turkey hunting was not being productive we managed to catch our limits all weekend at Bear Canyon lake throwing spinners. A few were pretty good ones.

It was too windy for us last weekend. Almost did'nt even hear our own calls.

The lake is below 15,000 acre feet and im sure the fish are beginning to stress. What a shame.

30 mph wind Fri. morning and 20mph Sat. morning equalled no birds for our hunting camp. Quite opening weekend.

I have had a pair of the Cabelas 12x50's since 1998 and still using them. Awesome for the price. My two pennys.

Way to go Brian. You guy's have been slaying them Crappie. We could not get a bit without a minnow tipped on a jig.

Decided to give the Crappie a break and fish for bass. Paid off.

Rubber worms worked for us.Fish just starting on the beds. Water temp. 66deg. in the morning first light and 74deg by 5pm.
