Heck no Bill! That thing is all yours! You have a much better reason for wanting it, I just thought it was cool but I really don't need it. I would rather see you get it for sure, just let me know if you stop bidding on it. I won't bid anymore. Good luck! Thanks, JIM -

Thanks Doug for the link, it worked and I might be the new owner of it in 5 days! I have some very old stuff from Arizonas hunting past and that would be an awesome addition. That name sounds familiar to me and I will try to research it, I'll let you know if I find any info. By the way, that license is good for only 2 turkeys and 1 deer. The extra stub is to be mailed in to G+F if you are successfull. Thanks, JIM -

Dustyb0, sorry for your loss! I hope I experience tagging a buck just like your friends before I go! I remember seeing that pic of him before, thats an awesome buck and beautiful mount! Here's a pic of the buck that is hanging to the left of his in that top photo. A friend of a friend killed this buck and the freak buck to the left and up from this buck on that wall as well. Some incredible bucks there! -

Deerslam, my taxi is one of my best friends so I usually tell him to put other clients ahead of me just to ease some pressure on his workload, BUT, this time I paid him in full for my last three coues bucks and paid for a rush on the pedestal! I just can't wait to finally have a nice coues mount and want it ASAP I am mounting my biggest MX buck on the floor pedestal with a 90" class lion kill skull incorporated into it somehow. My AZ buck is back from the tannery but the MX bucks aren't so I think by the end of summer he'll have the pedestal done. I'll defeintely post pic's, thanks, JIM. -

Hey hunter4life, that cat mount is awesome, one of the hardest things for a taxi to get right is the facial expression on a cat and getting the eyes right. Yours did and awesome job! I also love that coues pedestal of Doug's, that mount is beautiful, I only hope mine turns out that good! That coues buck Deerslam has is a toad! A beautiful mount as well, I love the ears back, it really shows off the rack! Awesome mounts guys! Thanks, JIM. -

Hey Ilene, that's awesome! Goose sent me the pic's and I was hoping you would post some here! He also sent me the video tapes to edit for them but I haven't broke out the stuff to watch them yet, can't wait to see how the hunts went, sounds awesome though! Congrats on another archery trophy! JIM -
I don't remember reading anything about it being waterproof?! It is sitting exactly where the stock one was and has the same stock pluggins in it so I hope its ok! There is a cover that goes over that box also that I took off for the pic, I'm sure it helps also. Those PIAA lights are incredible! The bike is too fast for the stock lights if you drive fast at night, and with these new ones it's alot safer for a leadfoot like myself! I was told I could run 2 more of these 55w lamps on the Rhino but that would be the max. I would like some higher up but have to keep them within the cage somehow, so that might be my next project.

That's one heck of a Coues trophy wall Desertsheep! I have no Coues mounts, YET, but have 3 at the taxi with one being a floor pedestal and I can't wait. I did have my 'lope mounted for the wall but changed my mind after it was done and mounted him freestanding off of a muley shed I found when bloodtrailing my bro's biggest bull in unit 9. My buddy, the taxidermist, altered the antler with rods running through the tines and into the table, and put a rock-like texture on the back of the form to finish it off. This is my archery bear. This is my domain in the house, can't wait to get my coues mounts up!!! -
Hey David, that thing has come a LONG way since your first post, looks badass!!! Bass, I bought most of my stuff on ebay. The bumper is being built by Desert Toys on 91st and Grand. They have alot of stuff there for Rhinos. The CDI box is from Dynatek in CA, at www.dynaonline.com. It came with the igniter thingamajig which replaces the stock one and that was from Procom Engineering Inc. www.procomengineering.com. This was a set from ebay also and came with a 1 year warranty and guaranteed to work perfectly with the digital dash. I have been more than pleased with it, incredible difference in throttle response and power! I bought the PIAA's from Desert Toys also, here's the pic's showing where I put them, didn't have much choice because of clearance issues. You can see the CDI box on the left side of the battery, the PIAA kit to the right of the box, and the ignition rectifier thing, which is bigger than the stock one, is on the far right, looks like an amplifier. Not much room for anything else. Thanks, JIM

This is my one and only Bobcat. He was a fat one and the biggest one I've personnally held. I predator called for several years with my biggest goal being to finally get a bobcat, so it was definitely a big deal for me. They are awesome critters! JIM -

Yeah I know what you mean! It was really hard to get the girls to pose, that one was like the 8th try! The self-timer beeping on the camera finally caught there attention! You can see in Gracie's saddle bag an arrow I found on the way up, was possibly shot at a Mulie or a pig. That mtn. gets hit pretty hard during the seasons. Thanks, JIM -

I was talking about this topic to my wife and she got a little upset at my choices for my favorite photo! I sort of forgot about this one because it's not hunting related but it is one of my favorites. I took her for a ride on our Mules to the top of the Whitetank Mtns. a little over a year ago, and asked her to marry me about 30 minutes after this photo was taken. It was an overcast day and slightly sprinkling making an awesome time to be ridin' the mules and gettin' hitched! These are my girls, from left to right: Katie, Alicia, Me, and Gracie. Check out them ears! -
Thanks for all your replies guys! I emailed the link to this page/site to my sis so she got to read it all. She hasn't caught the "Couesbug" yet, but she will soon enough! Thanks, JIM.

I wanted to share this with you all, it's my sister, Katie, and her first bird she got on Sun. Katie, my Bro-n-law and my dad were set up above the birds that were gobblin' and carryin' on down in a canyon shortly after fly-down. It took almost 45 minutes of calling to finally get 3 toms to within 40 yrds. She pounded this bird, and without being told, immediately jumped up, chased the tumbling bird back down the hill, and finished the job! She instinctively knew what needed to be done without being told and is amazing to see from a novice! I witnessed first hand her shooting a bear at 50 yrds in thick cover and before I could say anything, she jacked another round and heart shot the wounded bear, running, at close to 100 yrds, in a small opening finishing the job! She's got it in her blood, and she's good! We're all proud of her! Thanks, JIM Dad and Katie. This is the bear she whacked two years ago. It's obvious she now has a lucky t-shirt!

YOU AND ME BOTH! I WISH that was MY tag on that buck!

Those are some GREAT photos and memories guys, thanks for sharing. I remember that pic Ernesto posted and it still sends those "good" chills up my back! I always focus first on the more visible deer and then instinctively check the surroundings and "BOOM", "BIG BUCK"! That is so common when hunting Coues and that picture captures that characteristic about them perfectly! Very rarely is it a buck like that though, but usually more there than meets the eye! I keep changing my mind on which trophy is my favorite. Having my dad on any hunt, successful or not, instantly makes it one of my favorites and I'm very fortunate to have quite a few. My favorite with him happened years ago when I was around 15 or 16 yrs old. We had 20B muzzy Mulie tags and being at the time, a "hard core" predator caller, I had a lion tag also. My dad and I came up over a ridge to glass into a bowl when we spotted a lion laying, back to us, facing the Bradshaws with the sun setting behind them. He was around 60 yrds below us and unaware and it looked like he was watching the sunset. There was a gold hue all around him from the sun and it was like a dream. We just stared in awe not even thinking about shooting when after about a minute he turned his head quickly to the side. There were 3 javalina working toward him and he, very fluid and fast, got up and almost "slithered" his way head on to the pigs. The pigs, two adults and a red, dropped into a small ravine and he jumped in after them, out of sight from us. This is when we realized we missed an opportunity to shoot and we just stood there listening to the growls and snarls and squeals. A few seconds later the cat came up out of the ravine walking slowly and constantly looking back at the pigs that were woofing and following right behind him with the little red squealing and staying between the adults. Those pigs walked that cat right to me! I shot him at 7 yrds and as the smoke cleared we just stood there in disbelief as he lay there motionless in front of that sunset! He was a young tom and obviously got his butt kicked by the pigs but it provided my dad and I a hunt we'll never forget! We had a long hike out and didn't take pictures until the following morning in the front yard, I actually had my school clothes on under my camo's in this pic! Thanks, JIM -
Well the Dakota shown is mine. So someone else has a Red one with a CWT decal... Like to see that one sometime. The other Sticker on the left hand side is an "earth" symbol. Y'know, Teal'c Jack, Sam, Daniel, SG-1..... Twas not me though at the dysart Lowes. Made it to the 83rd & T'bird local one but gogo juice is too spendy to go much farther. Later Yeah there is another red Dakota out there. The other stickers I was talking about were actual white letters saying something above the CW.com sticker. I didn't notice any smaller stickers on the corners, just all the other letter stickers above the CW.com sticker that was in the same place as yours. Curious who it was, JIM

That red Dakota is (I'm pretty sure) the one I saw last weekend at Lowes on Dysart. I saw it from an isle over and rushed over to park next to it to meet the guy. As I pulled around he was backing up to leave and I swung in behind him to park but he left too fast. I was excited to finally see another sticker but missed the chance to meet whoever it was. I was in my work van with no sticker on it so he probably just thought I was another crazy Californian driver! (no offense DEERSLAM ) Who's red Dakota is that? There were some more stickers on the window than just the CWT.com but I didn't read what they said. Thanks, JIM
