Yeah, Matt drew another 9 tag! Hopefully it's the early rifle but probably archery, who cares, it's a 9 tag!!!! I think it's been at least 7 or 8 years since the last early rifle hunt in 9. JIM>

My Brother just got a unit 9 tag, Early rifle or Archery? Thats all he put in for, and it wasn't there an hour ago and it just popped up about 15 mins. ago! Still hope! JIM>

YAAHOOO.....My bro just got a bull tag!!!! He only put in for 9 Early bull and Archery 9! He drew an Early bull unit 9 tag the last time that unit had an Early rifle hunt like 8-10 yrs ago! Hopefully he did it again! JIM

Well........I just called my bank to see if there are any pending transactions.........and...........YAHOOOOO! There is a 19.50 hit!!!! 35B WT I'm surprised I'm that excited about it, I guess it's mainly because all day I've been pissed at myself.......oh well, lesson learned! My buddies and I, planned this out, to guarantee WT tags for the three of us, we put a great odds hunt 1st choice and were gonna pack in for the whole hunt somewhere in the nastiest place we can find and hopefully find some bachelor groups of bucks on this early hunt! I'm going huntin'.......I'm going huntin'....I'm goin....I'll stop now. COME ON ELK TAG!!!!!!! JIM>

I knew about the August 1st thing, and that is why I felt OK about waiting for payday! That is what keeps runnin through my mind right now, "how can they offer that service of changing cards till Aug 1st, when they are running cards now and I did not get a call?" I had a card expire before and drew a tag and they called me for a new card number and I then stayed drawn, so how does it work now? It's my own fault but I bet they threw my 35B Early tag back into the draw. Who Knows? JIM>

I feel like throwing up! I made a rookie mistake and I can't believe it. I had to drain my debit account last week for my wifes school tuition and had $1.26 in there until 8:00 am this morning! If there were any hits before 8:00am today......it got rejected. Nothing has appeared yet and I know people were getting cc hits early last night. I had 35B EARLY WT as my first choice for deer, which should have been a guarantee draw.....my buddies all got it ( we think) so I'm guessing I got rejected I was hoping this would have held off till payday, but it didn't.......DAMMIT! Well it's still OK I guess 'cause I'm still going Moose/Caribou hunting in Sept.! My good friend got a $78.00 cc hit and only had Early 9 rifle first choice and Archery 9 second choice! Lucky SOB probably got first choice! Hope they just haven't got to me yet, but congrats to all you that got drawn! Thanks, Dumba$$....oops.........i meant......JIM>

I thought they ran the cards after, appearantly I was wrong. I did have them call me after the draw one year to see if I had a different card to use because the one I gave them had expired, I gave them a new card # and I got my tag! Things must have changed I guess. JIM>

Hey there Manny! That's very true, it does save you time and can save you ALOT of time if you are holding out for a certain buck! I just HATE carrying 2 pairs of binos AND a biga$$ spotter as well. You need to go hunting with me and you can carry my spotter for me? What do say Manny? You just have to make sure your sitting near me when I am glassing with just my binos! That doesn't make sense.....i hope it's true for your sake, but they shouldn't be runnin' cards yet. my guess is they were running their tests and actually tested the whole system from start to finish using some actual apps and successful hunters and you happened to be one of them. I would bet thats it, but who knows? JIM>

It's the air movement type of hot. Seems hotter and you will get restless and eventually give up. You'll actually want to open up vents or the back zipper but thats a bad idea if you have a shoot through screen, your silhouette stands out big time if your background is opened up. It can be good on some of those Antelope hunts for keeping the skeeters and gnats out if your by a waterhole. JIM>

I love that pic Ernesto! It gets me every time....reminds me of all the times I found a doe and scanned hard all around her to find the buck, then.....BAM, there he is and what a gorgeous buck! Hey Casey, Thats awesome, you know what hunting is to YOU and THATS how it's gonna be! Hunting means different things to everyone and doing it YOUR way can, and usually is, alot less frustrating and more enjoyable because your not worrying so much about inches! I enjoy holding out for the big one, but I really hate going home with a tag still in my pocket. I have always said I would rather have a PILE of little bucks than just ONE big buck! Thanks, JIM>

They are awesome! The shoot through screen is great and actually doesn't seem to affect arrow flight. They are very hot during the Antelope and Deer hunts but worth it. Probably the best blind on the market. JIM> Yes.

This is a subject that there is not really a right or wrong answer for, everyone is different in their abilities, tactics,likes and dislikes etc. I have the 20-60x80 HD Swaro spotter and I personnally think it is the best one out there, BUT....I don't use it enough to justify the price tag! I thought I would but I don't, and a cheaper scope would have been perfect for me.......but I'm still not gonna sell it If I didn't already have and use the 15's, I would be able to justify this spotter but I use my 15's all the time. If I broke it down into a percentage of use during a normal day hunting Coues it would be like this: 8.5x42 EL's....30% = 15x56SLC's......60% = 80HD Spotter..........10%. That is an awful lot of cash for something that I use 10% of the time! Not worth it to me, should have bought something cheaper, but in general spotters are a good thing to have! My $0.02, JIM>

I keep asking myself why the heck I'm so anxious to find out?! I know I'm going to draw 35B early WT and nothing else, so I'm just going to expect that and nothing else. All this dreaming and the "what if's" that run through my head are just setting me up for the inevitable let down! SO....... YEEEHAAWWW I drew 35B early WT...........yippee. I keep hearing from guys that "should" know that believe the results will be out BY Friday, but it's still all rumors! I at least got my 35B early tag! JIM>

Hey Josh, you can't go wrong either way! I have the EL's along with the 15x SLC's and one thing to consider is your tripod adapters. I had the Outdoorsmans install a nipple on my EL's and put one on my 15's so they both fit onto the same tripod adapter. Otherwise you are stuck with the Swaro adapter which is a flimsy "wing" type of adapter and it will not work with SLC's. and isn't as durable. Just my $0.02, JIM>

Bad news......well kinda sorta...."The draw results wouldn't be available till next weekend". This was from Duane S. himself so take it for what it's worth. I still have a little hope it will be tomorrow or Thurs.... but ...that pretty much killed it for me! I don't blame anyone for not believing it, I know I don't want to! Good luck to all, JIM>
