    Finally got out!

I tried to score it while sittin' around the campfire and I was seein' double at about the same time so...I don't know how accurate I was but I came out with 155". I could be way off....I was trying to use the Rackulator and couldn't see the buttons well, but it looked to be about right to me. My brother is the one that bull is special to, he's got most of the experience with him.......so I gave the antler to him! That bull added around 40 inches the following year in '05!! Thanks, JIM>
  2. Hey elkhunter, awesome pic's man.....great to see the family out whackin' n stackin'
  3. And here is an archery bull my dad got.........this bull traveled over 4 miles with a high double lung hit after being kicked up by another hunter........ we stayed on the trail all night and luckily checked the nearest tank before giving up the next morning! He was floating in it which actually preserved the meat by not laying on the ground....but it was an adventure getting him outta the tank!
  4. Here's some cats and bears that I scanned out of the album.........

Saw a nice buck while shed hunting

Yeah, I bet you boys are right.....I'm sure I'm givin him too much for beams.....but I personnally don't think he's less than 104".......I'd kill it! I would think most are sheddin' by May 5th, heck I was thinkin' some were sheddin' now? I really have no clue when Coues deer shed BUT, I guarantee it's between March and July

    Jim White Tripler-Review

Have you taken those bolts out to see how long they are? I wonder if they might have enough length already to fit a small spacer in it now? That's a great idea and sounds like what Jim W. was talking about doing for the Minox. JIM>

Dam....that buck has a huge frame when compared to his head/body! It's so tough goin' off pic's of a TV, but you did a good job with it........The beams always are hard for me to judge, but I come up with 107" Yeah.......I'll stick with 107". JIM>

    Jim White Tripler-Review

Awesome reveiw Doug.....very detailed and informative! It sure seems like there should be an easy fix to the alignment problem.....I know Jim W. said he was confident he could alter the Clamp feature to allow it's use on Minox....I'm sure he could do it for the Leica's as well......we'll know soon what he comes up with. I am also going to do a reveiw....I'm sure it won't be as detailed as Doug's but it will address some different points that will be helpful to those of you with different optics. I am gathering up several brands and styles of binos to show how it fits and performs on each and also I will put it up against the Swaro doubler for comparison. I will be headin' out to the Coues woods this weekend, and will have my review posted soon! Thanks, JIM>

    Finally got out!

Here are two of my favorite photos from the weekend....The first is our "antlerdogs".......they did awesome out there and even found a few themselves! It defintitely made for a more enjoyable day shed huntin' havin' the kids along! The next photo is a pic of Bret (GTT) and a set he found....the pic turned out great! I think we found 13 sheds that day.........I'm sure that ORANGE shirt that Bret's daughter "Kelsi" was wearing gave us luck Thanks, JIM>

    Finally got out!

Alright.....here is a few "as it lay" photos of a small 6X shed layin in the open and a old Muley skull....I would guess it died of old age because of the features on the skull and it also has been laying there for a LONG time! Unfortunately I didn't get any great pic's of it.....it's one of those that you need to hold to appreciate, the mass and character is awesome! Pretty cool find! Next is a "as I seen it" pic and an upclose "as it lay"...... And here is another "as I seen it" pic of a fresh 6X6 set and then me with my little "pile" You can see that Muley skull/antler a little better but still doesn't do it justice.....
  12. Hey guys...... This is a picture that David (azhuntnut) took and sent me the pic to post for him. It is a table he is selling, anyone interested? Please email him!

    Pie-Bald

There were a ton of rumors flyin' around about a 6X6 bull in Unit 10 last year that was full albino........kinda wierd though.......never heard of a bull of any size like that on the previous years.........maybe the MotherShip descended upon Unit 10 and beamed him down to earth.........maybe he's an alien-elk!?
  14. That was it. I figured since he's had that buck in his hands.....it would be a good one to stick on his buck

  17. Rule #1.........NEVER fart while wearing a wetsuit! .....Although....Bubba looks like he enjoyed it
  18. Casey.....no it's not my buck.....I didn't change anything about that rack...just added the point that was missing. Hey SunDevil......I remember that buck.....it was a great story and a beautiful buck! JIM>
  19. No....but you have seen it before......except now it has a point that was originally broke off.
  20. Alright.......LAST one for today.......You all know this guy and because I feel bad for whoopin' up on em'.......I gave him the buck of his dreams! Thanks for the laughs Chrissy.....yer a good sport
  21. Hey ElkNCoues.......I found an awesome pic of you with yer TOAD! Here's Dustin with his bull....
  22. Hey Gino.....found another "Derby" hat pic'! Posted it just for you
  23. Yeah, it's got two "wholes" but the other hole is in his leg and you can't see it.......It was the farthest buck I've killed with a Muzzy at around 150yrds.....I shouldn't have shot but the stalk was so long I wasn't gonna let him leave without flingin' lead! JIM>
  24. Since I talked about LITTLE Muley's......I'll post a few of em'....don't LAUGH! I know they are all small.......I leave the big ones for my buddies! The first one is my very first Big Game animal.......age 13 and was with a bow...pretty proud of that one!
