He found a trailer to rent --- thx everyone for giving this thread a look ...

I've got a long-time buddy who's looking to rent (or buy) a 20-ft trailer for his annual Lake Powell fishing trip. Bumper pull that he could tow with his 1/2-ton truck. He's been in the body shop business for a couple decades and is mechanical savvy. He's been trying to find one to rent, but the problem is that he needs it for a week starting April10 (he's competing with Country Thunder). He wouldn't rule out a purchase if the price is right. Any CWTer have something that'd fit the bill? Or maybe able to steer him towards something? Appreciate your help! --- Tom

Thx for the link. He's a long-time hunter, both tent camped and had a pop-up trailer --- think he's looking more for a regular trailer to make his better 1/2 happy ...

HELP NEEDED!!! Arizona Elk Society’s Heroes Rising Outdoors / Hunts for Heroes is an established program for wounded veterans here in Arizona. We’re working on a very special outing for the weekend of February 22-24, 2019 --- Hunt Units 19A and 20A! Javelina tags needed!!! We have confirmed five (5) lady Arizona veterans who are eager to go javelina hunting! Three of them have just recently joined our hunting ranks, while two have never hunted big game before. This will be set up as a hunt to help introduce these women to the therapy that hunting offers, and to build camaraderie among lady vets here in Arizona. Here’s the catch --- we are in need of five (5) rifle javelina tags to make that happen! So … what hunt unit tags are we looking for? Again, the rifle javelina hunts we’re looking at are scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 22-24. Specifically, we want to get the lady veterans hunting in Units 19A and 20A (possibly Unit 21) --- we have facilities (cabins and cooks) available adjoining these hunt units. That brings us to the question --- who can help us out with this??? If not you personally, who do you know with pig tags for those units they might be willing to give up next month? There are many Arizona veterans who gave so much while serving our country. Here’s your chance to give back to some special ladies while helping build Arizona’s hunting heritage! Plus, if you’re free, we also could use some help that weekend guiding our lady vets in the field (lodging and meals supplied). Is that you? I look forward to your phone calls! You can contact me via my cell: (480)760-3868 …Thanks in advance! (Feel free to share!) --- Tom Wagner, Coordinator – Heroes Rising Outdoors / Hunts for Heroes

Arizona rifle bull season starts this coming Friday! Hunts for Heroes has 2 veterans hunting with donated Unit 9 rifle bull elk tags for season starting this coming Friday, Nov. 30. We're SERIOUSLY short-handed for volunteers on this hunt (Fri-Sun, maybe Mon)! Who is available and would like to help 1 Army and 1 Marine vet try to find a couple bulls? This isn't a trophy hunt, but a way for them to put some meat in their freezers. We need to confirm our plans by TOMORROW AFTERNOON (Sunday). Your help will mean the world to these vets! Give me a call: (480)760-3868 --- Tom

A veteran who's hunted with the program before is bringing his trailer from Sierra Vista for the 2 vets to sleep in. Thankfully, I think the hunt finally has come together ...

Hunts for Heroes has a lady veteran new to our program who has narrowed her choice to a 7mm-08 in a smaller/youth model. She's new to hunting, doesn't own a big game rifle, and hoping to find a decent buy on a pre-owned rifle or a steal on a new one. NO other calibers being considered. Asking you all to keep your eyes open for us. A huge thanks! --- Tom Cell: (480)760-3868

Gave both tags back to G&F this morning (just not enough time to do the hunt justice). Thanks to those of you who got in touch --- much appreciated! -

We've been donated two (2) separate whitetail tags for this Friday, Nov. 9, and would love to get a couple vets out hunting Coues deer. One tag is for Unit 21, the other tag is for Unit 35B. I know it's last minute, but anyone available? Maybe welcome a vet into your camp if you have a tag for this Friday? Or maybe you know one of these 2 units and would like to volunteer and give back to an Arizona veteran? Give me a call as soon as possible if either applies to you --- (480)760-3868. Sincere thanks, --- Tom -

Looking to buy a Kifaru Gun Bearer rifle carry system if anyone has one that's not being used (?). Intend to install it on one of my rifles to make it easier to hunt with for a Hunts for Heroes vet. You can reach me at: (480)760-3868. Thanks! --- Tom
