Co-worker of mine is looking to buy a used tent trailer in the l-o-w-er (repeat, l-o-w-e-r) price range. Not afraid to rework various parts of trailer as long as trailer not "trashed." Ready to buy n-o-w! Would appreciate any and all local (Az.) leads ... thanks!

Pope and Young or SCI scorers?

Not only is Dick a great guy, he's forgotten more about archery than most of us will ever learn --- he goes back to the days of Al Henderson in Phoenix (not to mention his days as a very successful U.S. international archery coach). He's arrowed his share of animals over the years, too ... -
Allen: 'Bout time you put that ol' .257 Wby to good use (lol)! Seriously, really great to see you tag out ... --- Tom

My 1st 4x4 was a '71 Ford Bronco, a great rig that I thought deserved a special license plate --- Lv2hnt ("love to hunt"). I later adopted the name for hunting forums ...

My wife's stepdad's battle with pancreatic cancer ended at 12:30 this morning (it's a blessing his pain is over). We're fine; his immediate family is just now dealing with the tears and other related emotions. Thanks to everyone who offered your support (you all are awesome) --- your continued prayers are appreciated ...

I know there's a"prayer request" forum, but hope Amanda won't mind leaving this posted here for just the next few days ... Looks like my wife's 62-year-old step-father is about to lose his year-long fight with pancreatic cancer in just a few days/hours. Her mom seems to be holding up pretty well so far, but imagine that outer courage may be dented shortly. My wife's half-brother is going to take this pretty hard. We're doing okay (knowing God's in control through all this). Your prayers would be appreciated ...

Chris: Yowzer!!! That's one s-w-e-e-t buck! That's going to be an awesome mount! Congratulacion, amigo ...

Keith, just thought it was great a fellow hunter, upon surveying the situation, got his butt out of Dodge so you could continue hunting (seemed in your original re-telling that the other stand might have been his). After re-reading my original post, my praise for the other hunter (still to be commended) sounds larger than intended. My apologies to you --- didn't meant to detour this thread away from your accomplishment. My congratulations still stand ... great job on your 1st archery buck!

Kudos on a successful hunt! Way to go on waiting for a clear/clean shot. And pretty slick to see the pics to go with it. Probably really got your son hooked now too, huh? One other thing --- tip of my hat to the other hunter who showed some REAL CLASS and yielded ground honorably. With all the crap going on recently with game cams showing up missing, it's s-w-e-e-t to see a fellow hunter prove himself a SPORTSMAN. You're a stud in my book, whoever you are ...

Going to be in Cabo San Lucas late next week (very last of April) and want to hire a boat for a day's fishing with some friends. Anyone actually have recent, positive experience with a guide/outfit you'd recommend? I know how/where to research on-line, but am looking for personal input. Thanks in advance ,,, Lv2hnt

Boy's first big game rifle, suggestions?
Lv2hnt replied to lfootmatt's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Whatever caliber you end up choosing, take a look at the Weatherby Vanguard that comes with two (2) synthetic stocks, one youth-size and the 2nd for later when he's grown a bit. Reasonably priced and a nice gun! -
I know you were thinking about a semi-auto, but a stainless wheel gun brings a lot of good things to the table! Check out a .357 Ruger SP-101 snubnose --- readily packable, speed out of the holster, PLENTY of power from 125-grain magnum hollowpoints, and accurate as you could want. Very reliable, and it's NOT unpleasant to shoot! Lv2hnt

Stan: Bummer --- how'd you have it anchored? Was T's hidden, or were you just the lucky one? There are several web links to trail cam security I've seen; maybe you could find something doable on one of them (losing even 1 camera is 1 too many) ... BTW, Peggy and I blanked on Kaibab, but did pull 2nd choice tags down South ... Lv2hnt -

Before you guys get too caught up in the pic, take the time to read this ENTIRE thread: http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/index....showtopic=69645 (How does that saying go? Don't believe everything you hear/read, and only half what you see ..." Lv2hnt
