Hey Robbie; Sent you a PM. I had 21 points, drew my 1st choice (FINALLY got a low number from the computer). Enjoy the ride --- this should be a LOT of fun ...
-
I'll be west of Robbie in the Gilas; we'll be hunting next door to each other, not in the same hunt unit ...
-
Thanks Rom! And Hector, yes indeed --- our Arizona hunting fraternity rocks! I'm still pinching myself ...

Plumber: I'll send you a PM. I'm in Gilbert; sounds like I might owe you a dinner! ;-)

Got sent this by a younger friend. You even might have seen a version or two of the "Harlem Shuffle" the past few months. This one's a bit unique: www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4vqnSwTXAAc

Stanley: My heart aches for you, brother ...

Believe me, you're not the only one. I live in Gilbert too --- 6 years ago some gang-bang types broke into my Civic driver (and many others within a several block radius). Thankfully, LEOs caught them. Glad they found yours with so little damage! It's paid for; give it a good cleaning inside for your wife's ease of mind. Then maybe take your wife out for dinner (never hurts!) ...

A good one (Possum cameo):

My flyfishing partner has kept his trailer up in Eagar for several years (late April into October). Bear Paw RV Park / 425 E. Central Ave, Eagar, Az. 85925 / (928)333-4650 / Easy access, very reasonable rates; talk to owner Pat.

Last year every G&F officer we ran into stated (not exact quote): "It's all FS regs; not our job." Guess we'll have to wait to see what transpires this fall ...

I'm not sure what applies exactly how when it comes to prosecuting the person now in custody. From what I remember, Massachusetts does not have the death penalty (only life imprisonment), so it would have to be the Feds to bring a case if more severe punishment would be "desired." And there just seem to be SO many aspects to this entire incident (starting with the bombing itself) that we're really not being made privy to. I'd like to think that the whole truth will come out, but I'm not holding my breath ...

With your lifetime Arizona license, the non-resident stipulations for the draw do NOT apply to you. However, if drawn, you'll pay the non-resident tag fees ...

You keep your loyalty point, and will continue to as long as you continue to apply correctly each year ...

Arizona Commissioners Elk Tag Sells for $385,000
Lv2hnt replied to rthrbhntng's topic in Elk Hunting
I think the winning bidder is from Cali and killed a 462-in bull last year in Ariz. He must be after that bull's big(ger) brother. That money will go to good use here in our state ... -
Hey all: Came down to Tucson from Gilbert this morning (Saturday) to see my grandson (Swan/Grant Rd), b-u-t ... Made it to intersection of Orange Grove/Oracle when my truck absolutely D-I-E-D!!! Had work done on it earlier this week (replaced distributor with new one) --- evidently wrong diagnosis done there! Truck ran fine on highway this morning, but simply died at stoplight in town. Truck is '98 Chevy 4x4 with 15,000 miles on replaced 5.7l engine. Engine cranking over STRONG, just won't run. New fuel filter a week ago. I grew up in Tucson, but it's a Saturday --- any CWT gear heads out there who might be able to spare a little time and share their expertise this afternoon (Saturday) or tomorrow (Sunday)? I'm thinking problem might be with crank sensor or related wiring (but I'm not a mechanic). Check engine light is on. I can be reached on my cell phone: (480)760-3868 ... Appreciate any help I can get --- Thanks! Lv2hnt aka Tom Wagner

Checking back in --- thx to muledeerarea33? and Chico for posting your suggestions! Special thx to MotoXno53 & Snapshot for calling and meeting me in person in Tucson!!! Got the truck home to Gilbert on Sunday (ran ok on highway), but issues popped back up again once back in town. A GM guru friend of mine got with me this morning (ran a LOT of tests, then replaced cam sensor, afterwards the fuel pump relay --- after driving for a while, if that didn't do the trick, my last resort is to check fuel pump, which was replaced just 1 and 1/2 yrs ago) --- time will tell ... Thanks again, Amanda, for having the idea of this website --- not only do we get to share our hunting experiences, but the CWT fraternity is a family who helps each other. MUCH appreciated!!! Having said that, GOOD LUCK to all you pig hunters later this week!

Sorry about the re-post(s) --- checking back in on computer that's NOT mine. 1st of all, thanks for the helpful replies! Truck is still at Orange Grove/Oracle. No tools with me --- frankly, I really don't know my way around engine compartment when it comes to trouble shooting. Anyone wanting to help, maybe better to call me on my cell--- I don't have direct access to this site. As I'm typing, just got a phone call from a fellow CMTer --- will let everyone how things go. Feel free to call for live-action commentary (lol) --- now, why am I laughing, exactly???
