Nice photo Becker. That sure is a nice buck. Heck bucks that size are hard to find, they are even hard to find in this forum, I just found this photo today.

Nice buck knifeboy, congrads. They sure live in some vertical terrain don't they. What is the rifle, is it an ultra mag?

I carry a big trash bag in my pack, then unload my pack insert trash bag as a liner, debone critter, put meat in trash bag, load remaining equipment back in pack, leave all bones on site for coyotes, proceed back to truck or quad. I wish I knew how to do that when I was younger, it sure would have saved on the back. 1stcoueswas80 will relize that in a few years.

Nothin' like a good pack mule to get the critters out of the hills, or even moving your own body up and down the hills.

Sorry to hear you want to leave the site GMM, but the political issues that have been dicussed here are real issues we will see while hunting or enjoying the outdoors in Arizona. It sure has opened my eyes to be more carefull when I'm in that country and I do appreciate that knowledge and information I have learned from this site. I have heard bears like the smell of the 35mm film too. I'm using a Moultrie Digital and have had really good luck with it. I'm just happy he didn't trash it. Guess now I'll have to make a metal box to put it in.

Now that's what it is all about. I have been hunting as long as I can remember and the best memories are now hunting with my young son, he's almost 9. His eyes light up when I mention we will be going to the hills and he has been hunting with me since he was 3. He also makes a good alarm clock, he usually is standing by the bed at the house before the alarm goes off dressed, truck loaded and ready to go. Here pretty soon will be his turn to have the tags and he can't wait. Thanks for the post.
