And how many hunters do you know go home from hunting and tell the wife, "Yea, today we didn't see any bucks but we busted some drug runners and got a few bales of weed off the streets." I was working in Tucson today off Starr Pass by the Marriot and seen 5 mule deer with 2 of them bucks. We decided we should get back to work when I spotted a bobcat laying in the rough on the fairway of the 17th hole. I think he was stalking the quail. So I decided I would try to sneak up as close as I could and take a picture. Thats when this cottontail decided he wanted to commite suicide. I was 19 yards from him when I took this photo, too bad I didn't have my bow. Well its back to work and we seen 5 coyotes in the next few hrs, then we seen 7 javalina come from under these condos by the golf corse. I couldn't take it and had to see how close I could get to the javalina. I guess if you're going to be working you should see some critters. And thanks for the help Amanda, I finally figuired how to post more than 1 photo at a time.

Yea it was a stressfull day but seeing all those critters made it worthwhile. I got within 1 yard of that one little piggy. I think he liked me.

One thing that has helped me with shooting downhill is ranging something that is parallel to me above where the animal is. Example: it ranges at 38 yds, but parrallel to me it will ranges at 30 yds, I then use my 30 yd pin. Redman <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Redman, Thats how I try to do it too.
