One big voice does make a difference, thanks to all that participated. Now we need to continue with the deer hunts.

Smaller diameter arrows are effected less then larger diameter arrows. You would be amazed how the wind does effect the arrow flight and how steady you can hold on a spot. My best friend is awesome shooting in the wind, he lets the pin move around and times punching the trigger when it passes the kill zone, works good for him.

Nice buck Keven, Congrads.

Congrads on the nice buck. Especially a coues with a bow for the 1st one at 42 yards. Wow, good job. For those of you that have a hard time sitting still you can use a game boy to help keep you still and quiet for a little while, thats what keeps me in the treestand long enough. -
Too funny.

It looks to me the bull was shot very recently, it doesn't even look like he could lay on that side the arrow would be touching the ground somewhat. I'm just amazed the arrow isn't broke off. That's a very sad photo, hope a predator takes care of that soon. -
I cooked mine up on the grill and it tasted alot like pork. I little tough from being over cooked but it was mighty tasty.

Hey Scott, I guess its not tough going to work if you get to take a look at those sheep every day. Nice photos.

Nice finds cramerhunts. What unit did you find them in?

What a toad bull LittleBear. Nice job. I couldn't hit the garage wall with a longbow or recurve. I tried hunting javalina a couple of years ago with a recurve that I have, figuring I could shoot one at 4 or 5 yards or so. Well, that didn't work too good for me and I had to go back to the compound to get the job done.

Nice Lion TAM, Congrads. It sure is a rush to finally se that lion treed after you spend alot of time chasing the dogs. Sounds like Josh and his dad showed you a good time.
-
Good job Doug, keep calling them in.

I guess it will still make us dream though. That thing is huge.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea Josh, you might need help with finding that one. Just a couple of ol' boys helping each other back to the truck due to weak knees from seeing Great Great Grandpa buck. -

Nice bucks, Congrads. -
Dodger, Its pretty easy, you can also talk with the guys at the pro shop to recommend the right glue for the vanes you purchase. And always make sure everything is clean before you start.
-
Terry, Took me awhile to figuire that one out. Good one and I second it.
-
Great job Jeff, Congrads. What a way to get started shooting coues deer, with a bow. I'm sure you're like the rest of us now HOOKED.

BowhuntCoues replied to coueselk's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Great photos Danny! Thanks for keeping us waiting for the final story. Did Ernesto know you took photos of his buck? I guess the last buck 98" to 103". Definite shooter.
