I think we are allowed one easy hunt in one's lifetime. I don't think this will happen again

I have been scouting every other weekend lately and have not had any luck in locating Elk in that unit . last weekend there was a bike tournament in pine and Endurance run on the control road busy areas. Any help would be appreciated, Jr cow elk hunt for my Grandson

Im headed out sun.a.m. for the day. scout the Control road and by Hardescrabble by strawberry. I thought I had more time but this hunt came quick.

I would try around Dugas i shot a few by the ranchhouses there go there and attack the dog food and gardens.

We never did find who shot it but it happened near one of the towers. The border Patrol went into the canyons in the direction of the shot but found nothing.
