Get on a waiting list somewhere. Just like above, I placed an order in March for H4350 and I just got it week ago. It will be really tough to find it on a shelf somewhere. Good luck

You keep the fish you catch. If you are a fish eater it is a great deal. On several trips I have come home with 100+ pounds of fish. -

I'm chomping at the bit!! I will be on a 3 day on the Pac Voy on the 29th. Hopefully the seiners don't have it all screwed up by the time I get there. And hopefully these bigger models stick around a little longer this year. Just missed them by a few weeks in 2011. Manny -
I to am in the same boat, I just completed a 6.5 Creedmoor build. I think I have decided to go with a Leupold Mark 4 LR/T in 6.5x20x50 with the M1 turret and the TMR reticle. I think most of us could agree that the NightForce is the best scope of what you are considering. The only draw back with them is the price and their weight. The Leupold is 10 ounces lighter. Mainly the weight is what is keeping me from a NightForce but I own a few Mark 4's and found them to be repeatable so there is no lack of confidence with them. I have zero experience with the Huskemaw and with the 1/3 adjustments is not something i am looking for. The Ziess is probably the best optical scope of the choices but with only a 1 inch tube you are only getting 45 minutes of adjustment. So roughly 22 up and 22 down unless you put a canted rail on. With the NightForce there are 110 minutes and the Leupold a 100. On the Vortex they are just to new for me and I have looked through a few pairs of the bino's and were ok but not something I would invest my money in. I have looked through one of their scopes and again it seemed ok but I don't know how repeatable there are. Anyways my 0.02 on the subject, and congrats on the new rifle.

I have a few parts that I will never use from a recent build I started. I have a 24" sporter barrel off a 700 SPS. According to the Remington website it has a 1-9 1/8's twist. The barrel is brand new and has never had a round through it. Asking $75 for it. Also have the stock and I will never have a use for it. Black synthetic. Asking $20 All the items are brand new and were taken off the gun a few days after purchase. If you're interested send me a PM. Thanks for looking, Manny

Like already posted you won't get into tuna that early even on longer trips. In April you need to be on a long range trip (typically 5 days or more) to get into tuna. 3/4 day trips mainly focus around the Cornodo Islands and the Rock Pile just south of the islands. Tyipcal catches would be YellowTail, Bonito and Barracuda for the peligics and a variety of structure fish. Last year the BlueFin made it close to the islands and a few 3/4 days boats took advantage of it but it didn't last very long. The last few seasons it's been real tuff for the overnight and shorter boats to get on the tuna. The Albacore haven't really made a showing in the last few seasons either. When they do it's usually wide open fishing, they dang near will chew the paint off the boat. If you want to focus on tuna or other peligic fish I would wait till mid to late July and jump on nothing less than a day and half boat. I have two trips chartered this summer, the first is a 3 day in mid-july and the second is 2 day in mid-August. If you are interested shoot me a PM and I can give you the details. Also as stated Bloodydecks.com is a great resource. Manny

I have gone several times on trips ranging from overnight to 8 days out of San Diego. To give you a good answer I have a few questions. How long of trip do you plan on going on and what species are you wanting to target?

Just got back from the Kaibab and had a great time even though it was a fairly tough hunt for us. I had not been on the Kaibab for about 14 years and had to learn it all over again. We had a tough time finding decent bucks, but my wife was able to get it done on a decent 3x3 making it her second Arizona archery buck. This buck messed with her for an hour before presenting a shot. He came into her stand and only offered a head on shot. As he started to leave he turned broadside and she came to full draw, just as she was settling her pin he turned away not giving her time to shoot. The buck walked out and her heart sank. She settled in again still having a lot of morning left to hunt. About 10 minutes later the buck reappeared and came back in. Again he was head on and she still had no shot. After about 10 minutes or so he turned just enough giving her a shot. The buck was 35 yards and she tucked the arrow tight to his right shoulder and it came out right behind his left shoulder. She double lunged him and the buck only went 30 yards before piling up. I am very proud of her for having the composer to hold out that long for a shot opportunity. Now its on to the elk hunts and am excited to get out of town tomorrow. Won't be back till the end of the early rifle elk hunts and can't wait to see all the bulls you guys are going to kill. We weren't lucky this year in drawing any tags but its going to be a good year. Good luck to all with tags!!!!!!! >>>Thanks for looking, Manny
