    Member holding out on us?

Not real sure where you are heading with this But Team Mullins is a Sponser and a bit more. He has had pictures stolen that have been posted here as someone elses and had another Bull posted without permission or copyrighted that may have the same results. You will see their logo on any picture on this site (or any) and if you have any questions about that I suggest you PM Amanda. Please take no offense as I may have misunderstood you meaning. I just think it looks tacky. We all know what kind of service that Mullins provides. I don't think they need to use a beauty of a harvest in that manner. AC guy, The photos I posted were not intended as an advertisement. As stated in my first post in this thread I do not have field photos cause my camera was left in the truck. The hunter has several hundred on his camera and thats what really mattered to us on the hill. I am sorry you felt they were tacky. With any Outfitter helping a hunter harvest a critter of a lifetime there is always somebody that will try to put some kind of negative spin on it. Thats the norm now days, human nature i guess. No worries. Again Huge Congratulations to the hunter on an amazing bull!!!!!!!! CMC, Yes

Well that was my white Dodge sporting the CW.com sticker in Williams that had the bull in it. I do have pics but no field photos cause Mr. Butters failed to bring my camera up the hill. I just got home and got the green light to put a photo up. Give me a couple of hours

Mullin's Got it done in a big way!

All I can say is that bulls head must be huge. A world record head. Looks to me like a 360 frame with 25/30 points of trash. For a bull of that caliber the mass and the fronts look weak. Main beams are exceptionally long though and the trash certainly adds points, but I was under the impression to break the 400 mark you needed exceptional score in all areas. Wrong again. Bob Thats pretty much what everybody thought. I was not there when it was green scored so i can't quote specific measurements. I do know he was measured at 53 inches wide if that helps you.

Mullin's Got it done in a big way!

"Wilber" is truly breath taking and was taken by a very deserving hunter. Huge CONGRATS to him. Thank you to both the hunter and Mullins Outfitters for allowing me to be part of this hunt. This bull was in a spot that a lot of people were scouting and was known by most of them. The bull frequinted tanks that had several trail cams on them, so he was no secret. He was very decieving and was underestimated by several guides and outfitters. We spent a lot of time trying to put an accurate score on him and we figured him to be between 395 to 405. Jim told the hunter what he thought "Wilber" would score and I don't think it really mattered to him. It was more about the history and the uniqueness of the bull. Once the bull was dead, everybody realized how off we all were on his score. We figuered people would call B/S on the score so Jim had it measured by a master measurer and "Wilber" came out to 445 3/8. We underscored his bottom end, mass, width and extras. He is truly awesome!!!! sdrhunter, In my humble opinion, I think you are comparing apples to oranges with sheep and elk. The few giant bulls that are already at the top end of their genetic potential that are getting killed is not hurting a population of elk to still produce giants. Its the 370's to 390's that have the potential to become the 400+ bulls that get killed on the archery, rifle and muzzleloader hunts. Killing say 6 to 8 of the 370 to 390 type bulls in 1 year would impact a unit more than a few 400+ bulls being killed by a very few guys with the special tags. >>>Manny

    San Diego Sportfishing....

We just recently had six spots come open on our June 3 day charter trip on the Pacific Voyager out of Seaforth Sportfishing, due to a very unfortunate accident. The trip is scheduled for June 9th (Tuesday) through June 12th (Friday). We will board the evening of the 9th and return the evening of the 12th. Offshore we will be targeting YellowTail on kelp paddies and potentially Bluefin and Albacore tuna. We will spend one morning inshore by San Martin Island fishing for Vermillion Reds and Ling Cod, once we put a few hundred of them on the boat we will head back offshore looking for gamefish. Last year with a group of 17 fisherman we boated about 350 to 400 fish. Coosefan will be with me on this trip and it would be neat to add a few more CW.com'ers. The cost of the trip is $650.00, which covers the fuel surcharge, Mexican fishing permits and all of your meals (excluding beverages). Expenses above and beyond the $650.00 would be your galley/fillet bill which ran me about $130ish last year and rod rental if you don't own your own tackle. I beleive rod rentals are about $30 dollars for the trip give or take a few bucks. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Because this trip is only a month out it is first come, first served. If you are interested send me a PM. thanks>>>Manny

    Tom Turkey Locator

I have to second Scottyboy's post. The peacock screamer is one of the best locator calls in my experience. Last year a buddy was using one and would get birds to gobble that I could not day or night. I made sure I would have one in my vest this year!!!!

    Created a Monster!

Sweet fish, Manny!! Way to beat the Man at his game!! Jimbo, They say the camera adds ten pounds.... but exactly how manny cameras did you have on Manny for those pics??? Dadgum Dog-nuts!!! I know.... I know..... Way to go my friends..... One of these days it will be me landing one of those monsters of the black water!!! Ginger...oops I mean Gino, Thats funny..... but sorry it took me so long to post back it was hard to read with all the glare coming from my screen. Do me a favor and wear your hat when you type to knock the glare down or quit polishing the GIANT bald spot on your head And Chrissy you're just way to easy to pick on so I'll let you have that one Jimbo, Man what disapointment that dang whisker fish was.... We won't count it... but i think we were even for the night. That little rat you flipped across that boat still had milk on its lips .... so we will have to go to the rule book and see if fry count.

    San Diego Fishing Charter?

Bill, What kind of fish are you wanting to target? Point Loma Sportfishing H&M Sportfishing Fishermans Landing Seaforth Sport Fishing These are the four best known landings in San Diego. As for boats that I would recommend would be "Pacific Voyager" Captianed by Mark Oronoz is out of Seaforth Landing. The "Voyager" Captain Jody Morgan also out of Seaforth. The "El Capitan" Captain Alan Fay out Point Loma and the "Success" also out of Point Loma Captained by Cary Dodson. I have been on several day and multiday trips and these four boats and crews have been the most memorable for me. We already have another 3 day trip booked on the Pacific Voyager for late June of 09. All four landings have several other boats and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.>>> Manny
