Deer, Bear and ? what is the cat picture, notice the tail and spots
missedagain replied to grandmawhitetailhunter52's topic in Trail Cameras
IMO it is a lion and it just looks like it has spots because it is a grainy photo. -
Forest service wants you out of their forest. Read the end of the article what it is saying is that when they reopen this area it is going to be a pay to enjoy their forest area.

I think you can get a youth license up to age 21 but can only apply for youth hunts up to 17, but if you qualify for the youth hunts you can put in a youth deer 1st choice and a general deer second choice no problem.

My girlfriend just called me and told me there is a hound on southbound I-17 between rocky park road and the outlook on the side of the road eating road kill, she said it looked like it had a tracking collar.

So what was in the bag? I know I know none of your dang business

Sounds like the articles you were reading are talking about fishing in big rivers back east. If you are fishing at night those flatheads come shallow to feed. The food they like hide in shallow rocks so that is where I would fish for them, I wouldn't anchor and spend all night in one spot either if your not getting bit within an hour then move on.

Loss of Bear Hunting Access Due To Extreme Fire Danger

All I can say is I am glad all of their restrictions don't apply to me. -
Cool pics, i could be wrong but if you are putting minerals out in sheep country you should get the ones that are sheep safe with no copper.

something you want to keep in mind before investing in something like this is the liquidity of the asset, ie who are you going to sell it to when you want to get out of it?

We didn't spend a lot of time fishing, it was mostly pulling my four year old around on the donut towable which he thought was really scary. We also got to BBQ right on the boat. Good times!

Thanks Kenny, can't believe time is going by so fast. Had a great birthday at the lake and today found a bear that is good as dead next weekend!

Looks like an estimated 83% of hunters did not get a deer last year, the good news is that they are giving more tags this year!

I think what the game and fish meant to say was the online draw will be available late May to early June. Why does our game and fish always have such a hard time administering an online draw?

Awesome, I'd buy it but don't know if I would survive my rifle tag this year.

I agree with all of this. The animals I've killed with 2 blade Rages looked like a hatchet went through them. They also fly just like field points. However, I've drawn on and elk and pigs and had to let down multiple times due to Rages prematurley opening in the quiver or on my stalk. Needless to say, I'm a fixed blade guy now. If you don't move much (ie hunt from a stand or blind) I am a huge fan of Rages. If you are a spot and stalk guy and move a lot, go fixed blade. That all being said, almost any broadhead will work fine for deer. The differences between most broadheads are marketing gimmicks IMHO. I agree. When I'm in a stand I use Rage. On the ground I use Slick Trick. This is the buck I took in August with a Rage. I missed the heart and lungs. It still did the job. He ran about 140 yards. It was impossible not to see the blood trail. Bowhuntaz1 if that is your entrance hole and you missed the heart and lungs I'm curious what was inside that deer?

Will a hawk scare off deer or bears?
missedagain replied to AZLance's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I would think that it would bother you more than the deer, the incubation period is 30 days and another 45 days until the young leave the nest so you should be ok by deer season. -
We drove out to Wupatki national monument to watch it.. it was pretty awesome, got to see the total eclipse and the ring of fire even though that only seem to last a minute or two.

Years ago the g&f used to contract with that outfit out of Nevada and everything ran smooth for years, I think they had a financial dispute with them and since then have not been able to figure it out. The deadline for the correction period is this week so if the online is not available in the next few days I will apply with paper apps to get in before the correction period.

Those are cool pics... here is one that I got in flight on one of my cams
