They were talking about this on bowsite and someone over there said that they got confirmation that next year will be paper apps only.

Bill I am sure that you are a great hunter and can find game anytime of the year, and I am sure that you enjoy talking to tons of people that you run into out in the field, but not everybody is as special as you. I can not find deer in Oct. all I see are heat waves, and I am anti-social, when I hunt I don't want to see lots of other hunters.

A few of the town bulls

If these are pets then they are probably doomed to being sold to some country singer. Nice pics! Also, In that third picture do you think that the bull is scratching his antler with his hoof or scratching something else with his antler? -
I had a 22 tag last year and when I was out hunt'n and saw how many of favorite spots had been scorched down to bare earth I was so mad and frustrated that all I could see through my glasses was red. I even found some really nice sheds that had the tips burned off that I didn't even pick up I was so mad. On the last day of my hunt I took a decent buck with an incredible spread and instantly regretted leaving those sheds cause there is a good chance one of them came from my buck. Some day soon I'm hiking back in there to pick them up. As already mentioned rain heals everything and by the time I get another 22 dec. tag those deer should be healthy off of all the new growth.

Did anybody see what they are charging him with? This doesn't seem that different then someone paying to shoot a high fence deer. This is what the commercialization of hunting is doing, the experience doesn't matter as much as showing off your "trophy"

I am suprised that so many people have problems with bi-pods on steep hills. I have used mine on steep slopes shooting both uphill and down and have not had a problem. Some times I will have to extend the legs and shoot from the sitting position but I think that this is still a little bit steadier than stix.

I am not sure if this combo is even possible but I have a Sony digital 8 video cam and was hoping to connect it to my pentax 20X60's. Can anybody recommend an adapter that might make this work? I am a total novice at this so please forgive my ignorance.

Nice looking setup! If you caught any fish in that lake then you weren't in Arizona -

Is that deer hard horned already? Nice pics! -
It doesn't sound like your problem is string stretch, usually stretch doesn't happen that quickly where you need to resight in that offen. When your string stretches your draw length will increase, your poundage will increase, and you will gain fps. My best guess would be that your rest, peep, or form is changing.

You might want to look through some Pentax DCF WP, I think they are a good glass for the money.

Mostly just checking coueswhitetail.com about 5 times a day -
If there is 50 deer left up there it sounds like the g&f needs to create more "hunter opportunity"

I've seen 1 in 36b, with all the lion food down there I'm sure that there are a lot of lions.

I got my 32 tag today, With all the department mess-ups I was paranoid that they were going to call and say nope we messed up you didn't really draw anything.

For anyone who drew an elk tag

This trail cam was set on a spring that I had been seeing alot of bear sign on but when I checked the pictures all I got was a bunch of pictures of these elk. -
When I was hunting 22 last year I noticed that the deer seem to live in clusters with deer densities varying greatly. Some areas I would find loaded with deer and other areas I would glass for hours and find nothing. I am sure that if you keep looking you will be able to find some areas with good deer densities.

Very nice! Just out of curiosity what makes you think that it is not a lion kill? I would think that with a crushed mussle like that, that it could be a lion kill.

I set the camera up on the 22nd and picked it up on the 26th. There was 34 pictures of elk and as far as I can tell there are 6 different bulls and not one cow. The unit is 5b.
