Recently cut into a watermelon we bought at Safeway and it was yellow. Apparently that’s a thing now. Best watermelon I’ve ever had.

All honesty….. I tried to use the sous vide to heat up turkey carcass’s enough to pluck. I dropped my sous vide in the ice chest of hot water and fried it. So….. this sous vide was in a pot with a vac bag. Hoping to do better next time

Looks like it needed another hour in my opinion. I love how it looks but my eaters need a bit more.

Worst part about it that you probably have car fax access at work. That’s saved me a few times.

I’m sorry to hear about your wife. When I lost my wife It took me a few years to get back to things (still never fully) but eventually started going out again. I understand where you’re at with things.

So I have to vacuum out my smoker to make it work? I’ve gone from pure wood to charcoal and homemade chips to propane and home made chips to this pellet grill. Cooks good but dang. I guess age and convenience has caught up to me.

These are the rib roasts that go on sale around Christmas time. I cut them myself. Oh, and I had to look up Spinalis Dorsi haha!

I make it at home when time allows. Use a spice/coffee bean grinder. I’ll only do a pound or two since it’s pretty time intensive. The grinder gums up often due to the sugar content in the flour. When you use it, cut the amount of sugar in the recipe about a fourth or so.

Very little for us outside of benson. Seems like it’s going around us every day.
