EV’s get 200-400 miles a charge. Most of the buyers work less that 20 miles from work, a good majority of those people work at places that have chargers in the parking lot. As far as I know they’re not killing power to businesses for days. Even if they are, most EV drivers have enough juice to make it til the power comes back on.

My anniversary is in 2 weeks. I wanna take my wife to one of the Tucson resorts for the weekend. Eat, sleep, be different. Which one do you recommend? La Paloma hosts one of the banquets we’ve been to and she loved the place!! So it’s a fancy Tucson place.... Or would it be worth driving to Phoenix? I’d prefer alpine or Greer but we only have Saturday and Sunday. And she has health issues that keep her close to town. So what do you think?

Cast iron with clarified butter is my favorite. Second is a propane torch, third is the grill. I always sear after. I used a chiminea once and that was a disaster.

Borrow my sous vide if you don’t have one, I’ll even meet you half way. Just don’t fuk up a good piece of meat!!

Smoke it for about half to one hour with your choice of seasonings and smoke. Then vac seal it and sous vide for a few hours. It’s similar to a reverse sear. If the meat is gray coming out then just sear it. You’ll keep the smoked flavore, perfect done ness of sous vide, and char of a grill/hot cast iron.

In the market for a new bag. My last one was a Teton with the taffeta outer shell. It lasted 13 years before it finally got so many rips and tears in it I need a new one. So I’m asking, should I go with a similar outer shell or upgrade to canvas? Is canvas an upgrade? Weight isn’t an issue.

I ended up getting the same Teton I bought new 13 years ago. I bought my cot from them at the same time as my sleeping bag. My cot broke this year. I emailed them last week and they mailed me a new one. With service like that and the fact that it lasted 13 years of hard use, I decided to stick with them.

I agree with trphyhntr but I disagree at the same time. I started with Walmart Bino’s that you could buy in the hard plastic that you had to cut off. Slowly made my way to swaro 15 hd’s. I pry spent 2-3 grand over a 15 year period. But I hunted every year! Just know that your gonna upgrade and be realistic about what your gonna want. I wasn’t and made my way up slow!
