A vice and a screw driver can make twisted tie wire. Once in my Jeep I broke the frame near the front shackle. Lost steering and was in river rocks. Used a come along, ratchet strap, T post, and wire to pull the frame back and hold it in place. Made it 30 miles back to the house.

Few years back I got a northern industries 5lb stuffer from a member here with a stripped plastic gear. Just went to use it today (just remembered I had the dang thing but forgot about the stripped gear) anyways, from reading the internets “they say” I can get a LEM Metal gear set and threaded rod and it’ll fit. Any experience with this? Going to attempt to epoxy the brass nut insert back to the gear first but if it fails I’d like to get metal gears. Looks like it’s about 35 bucks.

Haven’t heard of it? Is it a tractor supply or similar machine?
