Every deer I’ve shot except one has been on a north facing slope. The one was topping out to be on the north face.

Only reason I haven’t jumped on the pellet smoker band wagon is I don’t want to have to run electricity to where my smoker is. I’m looking into a cold smoke box that’ll do pellets or chips with propane.

How small is small? 1911’s are nice. I actually shoot a Glock 43 pretty well for having big hands. It’s a nice small pistol.

I’ve never used pellets but I’m sure they’re just wood pulp and saw dust formed into a pellet. I didn’t realize there was a taste difference since I’ve only ever used solid wood. I’m using chips more now since I’ve started making different sausages.

Depending on the collision (and vehicle manufacturer) steering columns are meant to collapse in accidents. You can still turn the wheel usually but it’s wobble with a broken feel to it. Some vehicles have an igniter on the batter cable so if you wreck it blows the cable. If that happens your dead in the water.

Did your seat belts tighten? If all the bags and belts went off that’s enough cost to total certain vehicles.

I wear boots daily. They’ll waterproof on their own in a few months for my line of work. If you don’t work in oil and grease then I’d recommend wearing boots that are comfortable and using silicone spray.
