Some times it’s a lost cause (you can judge a book by its cover) but if you think he’s up for a rational conversation then I’d help him. Not concerned about power but if it goes out gas money won’t do any good. I always have 10-15 gallons at home for various equipment. I fill a vehicle with it once a month if I haven’t used it, then refill the cans. I’ve never been worried about food since it lives everywhere! I’d have to cut way back on my rot gut booze though, that scares the hel! Outa me.

No because it was sold as a rifle first. You technically broke the law by making it a pistol and selling it. If it was a home build on a virgin lower then no ones the wiser but still illegal.

If they were sold thru an ffl as a rifle then it would be illegal to make them a pistol.
