Good series on Netflix that was a 90’s pbs series called “the west” they touch on this and lots of other history. Worth a watch.

And I call my bank every year for every draw. Been doing it since I started putting in with a debit card. I used to hand deliver my app with a money order on the last day.

I’m always scrambling last minute to get everybody’s info!! This year my buddy wanted to be in charge and put everyone in. I’m sure it’ll be fine but I’m still nervous since I’ve done the draw for all of us for the last 10 years or so.

Probably not proper for this section but I don’t have kids. I had to shoot a really good dog today. The dogs are my fur kids. May not resonate with some but it was hard to do. After saying happy Father’s Day to my dad I had to put down my girl. The pain sucks!! Sorry to ruin a good time.

I don’t smoke but never was able to get a fire lit with a cig to save my life! I completely understand how it’s possible though, Just like dragging chains and sparks. I have a hard time with a flint and dry grass. Seems like in perfect conditions any spark, ember, or flame will light up a forest. Why chance it.

I always rub my brisket or butts with mustard then season. Used to go without but mine come out juicier and more tender with the mustard. No real flavor difference.

Mostly agree with you. And I saw a lot of that crap while the campgrounds were shut down and “camp ground people” had to disperse camp for the first time! It was a fuking sh!t show watching these animals! And cleaning up after them. But if this fire was started by a car fire then none of that matters in this instance. Car burned up on accident, by neglecting maintenance from the owner, of the last shop that worked on it messed up. Either way the rest doesn’t matter with this one.
