I read the roads to mnt. lemon and redington are closed til nov. 1st. So that’s basically the whole unit.

I shot my cva this past weekend. I’m a huge person! One of the shots I got scope checked! No damage to me but I realized it’s more recoil than the 300/338mags. Still doesn’t make me want a break though, just had to learn how to handle that particular rifle.

I use a weed sprayer for washing meat and me. I also made an electric one. I bought a 12v harbor freight pump and BLM rigged it to a garden sprayer end and alligator clips to my truck battery. Set the shower up in front of the truck. It works good but the weed sprayer is easier. I would love an actual camp shower but I figure if I’m going that route, I’m buying a trailer that has a shower already.

Yes! Most roads in there are normally good but after this fire you/I can’t judge them. As to the scrub and mesquite comment.... I think a lot burned was pine and scrub. That make widow makers and mud slides prevalent.

I sighted in with Barnes today. Did fairly well. Different experience all together than the old round ball and patch I’m used to. Damaged one bullet, I think I started crooked so I unscrewed the breech plug and pushed it out (which was nice!!) I need to find another starter rod that doesn’t mar up the polymer tip bullets. The tips are fine but on the one I pushed out I saw the jacket had deep grooves from the seater.

I picked up some imr white hots and a pack of Barnes 290gr bullets today locally. Going to get the scope sighted in tomorrow while I wait for UPS to bring my other goodies.

I guess my point was if you take a $5000 truck and put $15000 in suspension on it you’d have a dust free cab for the same price as a new side by side.

What happens when these sidexsides become jeeps or Toyota’s or Toyota’s and jeeps become sideXsides? It’s going that way. I’d love to have one but my Tacoma does the same thing at a much slower pace. If I spent the extra money, I’d run the sidexside guys down. And no dust in the cab.

Private land if your close to it like you said. Otherwise I use it for new units, no buying a paper map. Tracks steps, and I can see who owns land next to me. It’s the modern age map for a guy who hates the modern age.
