Sad part about that video, and yes I’ll say it again..... if they weren’t black it would be front page news!!

So no one wants this guys rooster?
-
edit.

That’s such a beautiful growth on that quail.

I didn’t end up getting tested after all. Had to make an appointment for a time slot and I didn’t know that. So I’ll wait to see what the other guys results are.

M80s, cute.

Back when it wasn’t frowned upon, we’d make our own. Opened up ton of tree holes and blew some canyon sides down. Then 9-11 happened....

New Mexico is where we used to get them but also used to live 10 miles from the fireworks stand at the border! I haven’t bought any in a long time since I live in a tinderbox now. heck, I switched to propane from wood burning due to the dryness. Hope you find some cool ones, post pics and videos if you do.

I heard they stopped it at the main road. With this rain going on you should be good bud. Unless lightning strikes and ruins it. But I’m optimistic.

What about hoosker don’ts and whistling kitty chasers?

Cold Bluing Error
muledeerarea33? replied to bowhunter-tw's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
With cold blue you need to use steel wool to polish between coats. If you did 10 coats then polished, you’ll be rubbing off coats. Hot blue salt tank is the way to go but timely and hard to find people good at it. -
I Gabe him some tickets I won on the radio for a Dave Ramsey event at a church in Phoenix that I couldn’t go to. He was thrilled for that! We texted often about my wife being sick and what he had going on. Funny thing..... he had a 243wssm and I have a 223wssm. Anytime he found anything related to the 223wssm he would let me know! Got really excited to help people out. I’m sad a good guy is no longer walking this planet.

They are Hitting Cards

If it’s in my namesake unit let me know, I can give you some spots. -
That’s horrible!!!

did you kill something off that tank?

No joke, I pack a metal cafeteria chair and a pad. Works great as a strong seat and a rest if I needed it.

We were told today that another guy got it. Not in our department though. So their offering free testing if you want it but we were warned that it’s expensive and not to get tested unless we had contact with the guy. So I’m getting tested tomorrow. I fear that they’ll test people and find out more of us have it than they realize with no symptoms and shut us down.
-
Lord if they stop it by the time it gets there!?! There’s no hope for 2020!

If your hunting where I think you are then you’ll be good. If your hunting elsewhere in the unit I’d look for meadows where the grass grew thick and has any sign of green shrubs or trees around it.

Definitely not me! Just feel I’ve seen that guy somewhere?

2nd guy down looks familiar.

I got mine from buds guns for around $600. Came with a cheaper scope. Haven’t shot it yet though. -

How far out are you shooting and what kind of groups are you getting with that set up? -
I want your talent someday. Nice workmanship.

Save all your cash from now til the hunt and sell what you don’t need. Ask them nicely for the time off but make it clear that your taking it no matter what. I told my employer that I hunt when I first started 18 years ago they’ve always been good about it except for 1 turkey hunt (had two guys quit the week earlier) so I worked and they felt so bad they paid me double time for the days I would of been hunting. Good jobs are hard to find but at your age I agree with Kevin and greyghost.
