Yeah, not embarrassed to say it either. I’d still be working my way up the mountain out of breath.

Dumb Question - .270 Browning Medallion
muledeerarea33? replied to newazhunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
If it’s a .270 wsm then it only shoots .270 wsm. What’s stamped on the barrel? -
Shoot the f!ng thing and call it hardship and unequal opportunity! Works with the riots!

Reload your own or buy what you need for a year when you have the cash. Just like left over tags I guess, no promises these days.

Let me know when the 43 goes on the market

You should adopt me so you won’t have to sell all these cool guns. You can just give them to your newly adopted child haha! -
I’ll take it!! 😂
-
Well have her post up the secrets to making it! Looks great!

If it’s wild animals attacking you or live stock then legally you can shoot the animal regardless of location. If it’s a neighbor hood pack of dogs AZ 3-1311 I believe is what your looking for. I hate hearing about dogs being killed but sometimes it needs to happen.

Second buck is awesome too but dang, after you show the first, normal is average lol!

The first buck is a no pass! Congratulations!! That straight horn is really cool!

Agree with this guy. Have a few ice chests in your truck. Ice is cheap, frozen jugs are cheaper. Walk out with what you can. I was able to take a doe in July once. Buddy of mine shot it with G&F permission in a lady’s yard after it was hit by a car. From the time it was shot to the time it was in the fridge was 30-45 min!! Worst meat I ever tried to eat!!!!! Probably adrenaline after being hit by a car but even the burger wasn’t edible. Dogs ate a lot but some cuts they shyed away from. Point is, kill it quick and get it cool.

Not saying they think the cat has the rona, just saying they’re treating all illness as the worst possible scenario. -

I bet they’re going the covid route. All joking aside, people think all viruses and diseases are air born now and will infect everyone! That may be the case, and they might have the right to do what they’re doing thru the cares act, but it doesn’t take the place of common sense. I hope he gets pups back. I’d be miserable without mine!! -
He’s got a mill in his garage.

Friend of mine builds every gun he now owns off 80% frames and receivers. He seems to like them a lot. Quality is only as good as you make it.

So Ron gave you a release on a hill? Kinky.

What’s up with the creepy one eyed skeletor in the back ground?

Interesting

If it’s next year I’m more than likely in as a newb!!

Think I might know the guy who killed it.

Acting like he’s not spear heading the trip.

The carnivore 250 grains are 1.5” at 100 yards with blackhorn charges from 90-110 grains. Barnes 290 grain were roughly 2” groups but I shot those with imr white hots. Hornady sst 250 grain were the same as the carnivore. I shot both at elevation this past weekend and grouping/poi didn’t change much at all. I’m content with 1.5” groups but would like to see better. Headed to sportsman’s tomorrow for more powder and primers, I’ll pry pick up a few different boxes of whatever bullets they have just to try. If the hunt was tomorrow I’d pry stick with the carnivore but carry the sst’s As a back up.

Looks rear. I might have to try that this year. All those years of eating “NOT DRAWN” Elk soup really sucked!

Texas brain shot at H6! But honestly I’m thinking F3.
