Hel!, if we’re doing all this primitive stuff I want a spear season! Spears, fixed blade knives and Swords less than 18” allowed. Flint Knapp tips only allowed on spears. Only brass extendable telescopes approved for glassing and buckskin shoes allowed! No camo pattern or clothing material allowed unless it was used pre1890. And must walk or ride equine from your homestead to your hunting grounds. Oh, and leave the cell phone at the homestead!

Slipper slope on that issue. Should archery be long bow only since modern bows will kill at 100+ yards? Or rifle seasons be capped to 300 yard shots and under? If that’s your opinion then that’s fine but restricting one thing can lead to other restrictions.

Yes. They may or may not drink at the same time as cattle but they will drink. If there’s other water in a better area they may use it more.

I understand that. I just know the hides on bobcats and lion are still in pretty good shape well into May in certain parts of the state. I think they cut it too short.

Put some of the youth hunts back in December like they were when I was a kid. And yes to 365 lion or at least August 15thish (whenever archery deer opens) til May 31st.
