Hunt above the muleshoe and back towards Jackson cabin. It's busy in that area but if your balsy enough to hike east towards the bluffs you see some good deer.

I've seen alot of bears in 27 and 1 (always out of season) everyone of them was running the other way. Saw a momma and a cub in 34A and they both took off once they noticed I was there. Not saying they don't charge but it not at the top of my fear list.

I inherited an old canvas tent from the Vietnam era, it fits 7 people with hear, wood or pellets and the stove. Room for a small table too. I haven't set it up in a few years because I don't know that many people lol. It's not a back pack tent for sure but easy to set up and very cozy and warm.

Thanks, I shot about 200 rounds from the factory barell and maybe 20 out the Douglas for break in (cleaned after ever shot) it is a great round but this gun has to go.

I have an 06 Tacoma with the 4.0/automatic. I can't beat it off road and drive 55 miles each way to work, 4or so miles is dirt and 4hi during monsoons and winter rains/snow. I love my truck!! It doesn't tow anything worth a dang though. I've been places that most full size trucks just won't fit. The 08 gmc is for towing, road trips etc.

My beans never came in this year, just stalks and vines. Zucchini however have been amazing! 14 since Tuesday off one plant. Way to many jalapeños to mention even though I hardly eat them.

Goodness!!!! The wife and have been canning bu nowhere near that amount! We can what we grow, pasta sauce, 6 jars. And salsa, 3 jars (ones gone already) that's it so far. Zucchini pickles coming soon.

Growing up huntin and living in 27/28 and lots of time in unit 1 I never really ran into people, ever. Occasionally we saw someone we knew locally but that was on the main road after a day of hunting. When I lived in Wyoming it was the same, freedom, no people, and quite. It wasn't until I moved to Tucson about 10 yrs ago that I had a culture shock!! The amount of people in the units around Tucson was insane. It took awhile, years, but I got used to hunting ponds for dove and duck with absalute strangers, running into people on a high ridge while deer hunting, etc. since I've moved to the benson area. It is better but not much. I'll go up and hunt with family in 27/28 when I can but even then the pressure is high these days. It's good to have a bigger hunting population now as opposed to 10-20 yrs ago but I'm still, after all these years, trying to get used to it.

I looked for a similar one for almost two years before I bought my 06

im guessing toad Anaheim's refer to the green chili variety and 400 class maters means.... A BFT!!!!! Hahaha

Pepper patch? I'm getting 5-10 jalapeños every day or 2 off my single plant, I don't even eat them all that often, I'm almost sick of zucchini, I've roasted about 20 lbs of green chili already this year and my maters are just starting to ripen. I'd love a garden forum!

KME is what I use now, a friend of mine started building knifes from scratch, he's way way!!! Into it lol. He sharpened every knife in my house with the KME kit. When he left back for Philly, he left the kit as a gift. I'm no good with it but I've cut many fingers with the ones he sharpened. Hope I get to use the skinner he's makin me come December!!

muledeerarea33? replied to ultramag's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I use my dads 30-06 that he bought as a kid with allowance money at bucks Autoparts napa in 1965. Last year iuseca 243y late uncle left me (I missed a decent buck) not sure which rifle ill use this year? Both are very accurate to 600 yards. -
Hey 25-06, you should tell the the story about you and I!! About how shot gun pellets rained down on me while I sat a pond archery hunting. The way I found out about this website in 05ish (I think) was the coueswhitetail.com sticker on the back of the bronco he used to drive. Haha we've actually become good friends since that but I was a mad sum biotch that day!!!

Wow!!! That is an awesome setup for an extremely great price!!! I hate when I have to sell guns like that.

Who cares??? The guy will start with New York politics and try to make his way to the national level. It will be everyone's problem then. Gotta pick the weeds before they get out of control. -
I'll say!!! I was gonna buy it for my mom. Guess ill keep looking lol

A few years back the Clifton/morenci area where I grew up published a cook book with all the recipes from restaurants in the area as well as the moms and grandmas recipes we grew up with. As far as I know the book was a hit and sold out (I have a copy) I was wondering if a cwt.com cook book could be made and sold? Everyone add a few recipes along with the ones already on the site. I'd add a few recipes and buy a copy, who else?

Anyone have an Eberlstock X2? Is is Waterproof?
muledeerarea33? replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
This probably isn't what you want but, I make my own "fanny packs" out of old blue jeans and belts. You can customize what ever you want. It's far from pretty and camo but it works very good. -
Thanks snapshot, two years ago in 32 while hiking near Jackson cabin I managed to pull a boulder (300+lbs) down on top of my foot crushing it. When it healed, or as it healed. I tried to do to much and developed the heel pain. I hope they can just give me an awesome new titatinuim foot haha! But I thank god for short term disability insurance.
