Unit 9 Arizona Elk Hunt Success Photos
muledeerarea33? replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Jealous, not jealous. Guides bein A-holes, or not, drought or no drought, rule change or not. Better grass, crappy grass. I'm not really concerned and don't take sides either way. I just wanna see the animals taken!! I've been putting in for elk 15++ years, when i get drawn, i can't afford a guide (I think I can't?) i'd rather have a DIY hunt but I won't be sad if a guide beats me to my spot. They obviously get paid to do a job, like the rest of us. Their job just happens to be alot more fun than what I get paid to do. I understand about being out and not having a camera, the only camera I own is on my phone, and it's not great. But if you have any pictures at all it'd be nice to see them. I've never killed an elk but have been onenty of hunts, how bout some eye candy? -
Safety factor of that video is somewhat questionable but that break looks bad a$$!!

Looks like super! I love it!! -
Forlorn hope.... You sit are spot on! Most all of us are guilty of this. My wife always complains about me being on my phone, it's my form of Internet and in the evenings I'm on this site and looking at hunting stuff. Never during dinner or gatherings though. I suppose a good idea would be to turn off the technology during family time. Hard to do but if it causes a good change for family and social views, I'm for it

There's risk of parasites with every meat you cook, wild or store bought. Lion tends to be a sweet tasting meat. I enjoy it better cooked with Asian inspired dishes, terakyi, sweet and sour, sesame. Add peppers, onions, and mushrooms and its the best meat you've had!! Also had it in jerky form (hard to mess up jerky) and have eaten it off the bone, plain. I prefer the Asian add ons but I've never had a bad cut of lion.

Found gun and saddle bags
muledeerarea33? replied to My Rights As An American's topic in Lost and Found
I'm not going to say its hard to find good Americans amongst us, I'll say it's not widely reported on. Amazing story and I'm glad everyone is ok and got their belongings back. -
I'm not that old!! Maybe greenlee county was/is behind the times but I believe the yellow front shut down in the early 90's? However the .22 ammo I'm referring to is from the early 80's. oh yellow front, good times looking thru that place. I also remember my first new bed as a kid came from western auto haha!! They also sold guns and ammo.

My ridge view tripod starting slipping on one leg, so bad I taped it so it wouldn't slip anymore. Then one day I closed that leg in the truck door! I called vortex yesterday at 5pm and left a message. Now their website says 3year warranty on tripods and I'm not sure if I bought it 3 or 4 years ago? The lady on The phone was very nice when she returned my call at 7am today. I'm being sent a new leg free of charge, no questions asked. Gotta live that service!!

suggestions for anniversary dinner date
muledeerarea33? replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in The Campfire
Golden Corral, all you can eat steak and seafood. Not the worst dinner you've eatin and it won't break the bank! Or you can do Sakura. That's my wife's special occasion restaurant. -
I'm in the private sector, yesterday we had no work. Today we had very little (8 appointments) usually we have 30-50. I'm assuming its due to the shut down?

Monkey liver extract, coconut water, blue eye of newt, ox tail, elephant scrotum, and estrus. Mixed with 4-5 tabs of air borne and blessed by an African witch doctor who lives in the out back of Australia. If you do all that, you'll be fine.

kings desert shadow or millitary digital camo or just a green/brown shirt

What I'm dealing with this year, access. Private property in the tens of acres that's blocking around 500,000 acres of forest land. Azgfd ranch access guy said they indeed messes up and never got easement access. I'm relying on private owners to gain access to hunt the forest lands. Very secluded and it's nice that its basically untouched but the effort it's taken to get permission is unreal.

Anyone going Duck hunting this weekend?
muledeerarea33? replied to Big Browns's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Ignorance showing here. Sky busting is shooting ducks that are flying by, not called in or are coming to decoys? If so I'm guessing that's only an issue for folks huntin on the big lakes and ponds near cities, where there are lots of hunters at one water source? -
Very cool!!! Broken horn tag?

Terry, what do you need bud? Call me tommorow, or real quick tonight. Let me know what you need and want to get rid of. If I don't have it I pry know who does.

Just wish it would fit on a Tacoma. Free bump for an awesome setup! And are you Charlie Flores by chance? Previously from globe/Miami?
