I heard it was an eastern Whity hybrid, shot too close to a golf course, at the Grand Canyon, from the truck, across the road, while the guy was drinkin whiskey and sprite! His trail cam was stolen and his honey hole got took so he had to road hunt, helicopters buzzed him and his trailer was towed due to that new 72 hour rule. The buck looks like 155" class buck but is only 140, several pay checks lost in betting on that one, oh and he ran across lots of trash and illegals during his road hunt but that some biatch got er done!! I commend him for it!! Did I leave anything out? Haha!!

If your gonna keep them in the freezer you shouldn't need nitrates, if their gonna be stored or left out at room temp you need them.

Pork butt or shoulder roast for sausage (think it the same cut of meat?) and the fatty end of the brisket for burger. If you can get some butcher beef trim from t-bones or porterhouse for burgers you'll thank me! Haha. I've also mixed pork country ribs with rabbit, fox, bobcat, lion, deer, elk, etc. and had good game sausage.

In AZ you can't be charged with trespassing while hunting if the property isn't properly posted. don't know the property in question, if its posted, or the land owner.

Since moving to southern az I've come to the harsh realization that most land is private, I've been knocking on doors and searching for phone numbers for 5 years trying to gain access. Some say no but ones that say yes have become friends for life and are good people, if the guy was in the wrong... Prosecute him. But it sounds like jealousy to me.

Then he should be charged with trespassing, was he? Will he be? I'd think so if the land owner didn't give permission. If not quit whining.

Haha funny you say that! That is the reason I didn't hunt this october, With all the wedding stuff goin on! I will not miss any more for now on (Hopefully!) I know from experience. Oct. 27 is ours It was planned for july but the church had to cancel us and was rescheduled without my knoweledge

My advice would be to not get married in the fall or winter!!! it ruins atleast one hunt a year

I understand the curiosity factor about the big deer, I was lucky enough to see the one I did (in picture form) not sure if its the same one others are talking about from the southern units. This thread has a few options...... Either die, go for a record breaking 20+ pages of crap talking about whatever, or the owner of the amazing deer posts and tells a story. I won't be sad however it goes haha!
