Gosh darn all to heck!! This all sold fast!

Property lines marked correctly on the corners, my shortest straight line is 660ish feet I do have middle markers but with the wind, a string pulled tight at 300 feet will move I'm guessing 3 feet or more! I'd rather just walk 10' at a time and drop a post if I can do it accurately.

Thanks Stanley, I've googled GPS units specs and most say 10-15' like you say. I wasn't sure if that held true from one marked weigh point and walking to another. Or if it just meant "re-finding" a point. I'm not a gadget guy so I'm lost with this stuff. I don't mind the string line method or using my transit, trouble is I'm by myself with trees in the way that need cut and I don't wanna cut on property I don't own.

Would you take your kids to hunt down south?
muledeerarea33? replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
I feel safer living in the sticks down here than I do when I go to the valley. -
I had a good one at silver saddle in Tucson the other night.

Haha, wife texted me 10 minutes ago... "I almost hit a frieking deer on my way to work!!"

At least three times a year I have a close encounter on the frontage road going home. It's usually when I'm headed out to scout for deer.

Do you know if it has to be "certified" or anything of that nature before a new company would come fill it? -

muledeerarea33? replied to macknnc's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
packing water is a good idea since you never know (especially since he's from out of state and doesn't know the area) I'm just saying there's plenty to be had. -

Lots of water in 33 if your backpacking in. Almost anywhere you go a few miles from the road you'll hit water, and maybe another road. Unless you walk straight up the mountain (s) -

I'm not a fan of the light that the battery ones put out but stream light makes a really nice one. Pricy though

It's hard to quit unless you 100% want to! I'm 31 and started skoal at 13, cope snuff at 16. I've tried a few times but when the stressful times hit you there's nothing like takin a chew. About 5 years ago I quit for almost two weeks. Had a hard day at work, got pissed and left early for the day. Worried about it all night. Next morning I took a chew and was fine. It's not easy unless you want it. I don't have any bumps (that I'm aware of?) but the gum line is defenanatly getting lower, long in the tooth. As I sit here now with a chew in my lip and a whiskey in my hand all I can say is don't ever start!! It's heck kicking it.

It's a rock grave, elaborate but no markings or head stone. In A small field next to the creek. I've seen it my whole life but never knew how to identify it (or had an interest) until this thread.

remington 700 sendero nightmare
muledeerarea33? replied to 5guyshunting's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I've heard sendero rifles are hit or miss about "finding a good one" but I'd check all the components first before condemning the gun -
Snapshot and singleshot, that's not the grave I'm referring to. This one is where the creek turns to a trickle and about a 5 mile horse back ride thru the this brush up the small creek.
