Reminton 700 7mag hang fire
muledeerarea33? replied to ngazhunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Sounds like the ammo. If it's happened on more than one gun. Has it happened with factory ammo or do you not use factory stuff? Reason I say that is because you've said the gun it self has been double checked. You and a smith. Also multiple guns you've owned. IF!!! You only shoot home brew then it's time to check your recipe. -
Is that an 80%er you did yourself? Mine look like that lol.

Totally different scenarios! Those wolves could generate hundreds of dollars in eco tourism over the next 20 years. that's like 2 cents a day!! Hmmm? Feed a starving pigmy in New Guinea or visit wolves.... Think I'll buy the expensive coffee! Sucks about the doe though. Hope they atleast ate the meat and dumped the carcass? Doesn't sound that way. -
Anyone know what the street value is of this gun? It's 5 or so years old, shot 100 times, clean. The internets are all over the place on prices.

Smaller than record book, bigger than spike. I would pry drop him. Age, genetics, and big is nice. However, if you don't know the genetics he might be about as big as he gets when velvet rubs. Respectable in my book and meaty. Shoot and eat.

Second pic from the bottom still has the plate #, bottom pic is good.

Don't remember all the details but in essence, studies show that the brain recognizes 30% more detail when both eyes receive the same image. and some people just suck at using or hate spotting scopes. I never could get used to the one eye thing.

As a kid my pops and I would fish then from eagle creek to point of pines. Always good! Miss those days.

Who in their right F'ing mind would get in the F'ing pit with all those F'ing rattlers?? F'ing crazy. F'ing F'ing F'ing for those of you that missed my expletives and fear of those F'ing snakes!!

Bit less than I paid when I bought it but figured the price would drop off some. Thanks.

When you come to see bill let me know. I'd like to go over and offer him some help if he needs.

Thanks Dan, I still got some posts for ya.The 100# is not newer like the smaller ones, don't know if the 12 year rule applies on the biggies, they say no where I get it filled. thanks. I'll have to call Barnes her in town and ask. They might trade it out for the newer valve fill.
-
Yes it is, and I could really use it. But I won't stand in the way of a quicker sale if it comes along for him.
-
Is that 100 pounder newer Tim? If so I'll take it next time your down this way. Unless you sell it sooner.
-
If you gotta ask, you can't afford it! FIRM!!!

Gotta agree with Alaska! Been trying for years but things just keep coming up! I would get the Texas trip off the bucket list. Whitetail, hog, and possible turkey. Not sure if it's a one trip deal but either way you get part of your deer and turkey slam taken care of. -

Anyone have trouble with stick powder in their powder measure
muledeerarea33? replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I don't use a thrower for rifle loads. I have a set of old Lee powder spoons and a few cut down cases that I use to get close to my load then I'll trickle up. The electronic scale/measuring units come in handy.
