25-06 and I watched a 3 leg coues mount a doe a few years back. We were laughing so hard at the poor guy and amazed at what we were seeing that we forgot to turn on his camera! He got the job done. Mind you it was a missing rear leg!

not sure about the area your referring to but most waterholes and roads cut are for cattle, cut by ranchers, lots are/were maintained by ranchers and if there's a lease then they need access. Can fully block a road for them or emergency services if needed. That's why the FS uses signs.

I can't drive by any animal without stopping lol. Soft spot for pups and cats. I'd like to think I saw her first and no one was cruel enough to just pass on by. Take her Casey!!! I already got 3!!
