I wear one pair of boots all year long. Work, home, hunting, the walmart, frys, foot doctor appointments (broke a bunch of bones in my foot) but I wear 1 pair and that's it. Red wings. Almost 300 bucks, middle road boots compared to the rest on this forum but it's all I wear ever and no feet issues. I wore sneakers/ tennis shoes once a few years back and fractured my ancke!! Lol 15 years with redwing now, a new pair every year or so and that's it.

He!!, I'll loan you everything I got for the year. No plans to hunt anything cept quail. I even managed to miss the entire early dove hunt. It's ok though, forces bigger than me deny my fun this year. Your welcome to all I have. Some real good, some... Eh? But whatever pm me if you need it. Close to Tucson. I'm back at it next year though!!!!(hopefully)

I'll get with you Dustin. Populations are looking good this year. We had three hatches this year and the survival rate seems higher than most years previous. I don't feel as bad hunting them this year lol -

muledeerarea33? replied to Adicted's topic in Elk Hunting
September thru January...... More than 5-10 pages is usually congrats for a job well done!! The rest of the year is usually a good old internet fight. I enjoy both! But this time, congrats on a nice bull!!! -
funny as F!!! If you have a sense of humor!!! Haha! But just wrong in so many ways!!

One and only question. I don't want an exact but where abouts in 27 was it killed? The back ground could be anywhere but it looks like a place on a hillside I knew well growing up. Thanks for posting the story, that deer has more inches than my last 3 deer!

Get it open to the bone as quick as you can. Ice chests, sleeping bags, sheets, and shade is your friend this time of year. Winter there's more time. Just get the guts seperated from the meat and the meat free from the bone as quick as possible and it'll be ok.

It's not hard to commute 50-60 miles to work. Live out a ways and have a better life. Makes coming a lot more enjoyable.

AT&T Service Coverage in the White Mountains???
muledeerarea33? replied to rossislider's topic in The Campfire
I get 3G in show low and "E" in some places out of town. Very bad coverage unless your in the city. Verizon will run maps on the phone with some call service. AT&T won't. Not worth it. -
I don't keep it in the safe. If they get in the safe and steal the guns then they steal the flash drive too. I keep mine in another place. Also keep a few copies in different spots they won't look (hopefully)

rabbits?
muledeerarea33? replied to 4Falls's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
for sure it's a good hunt for lean meat! Don't discount jacks, more meat and from my experience they tend to be healthier than cotton tail. Jack rabbit is a hare just like most all domestic meat rabbits. -

The months that have an "R" thing doesn't really apply here. How hot is September compared to January? I've seen em covered in bugs and wormy with snow on the ground in the cold country. Also I've seen them clean with no fleas or worms in July in the desert. I've read a few papers from university extension programs from different states. They give pictures and signs to watch out for in a diseased rabbit such as organ spotting, sores etc. -

I do. Usually around the house. They get so overpopulated if they're not thinned out where I'm at. Good table fare and dog food. -
the new car salesmen are worse, trust me!! But the saleswomen are lookers! And make more money. I'll never knock a salesman, they make more money than the guys that have to fix the crappy cars they sell haha!! This is fact

Video of Natives Hunting With Spears
muledeerarea33? replied to trphyhntr's topic in Hunting in Africa
Gruesome per today's U.S. standards but a way of life to those tribes who do it to eat. No trophy hunting or "ethical" shots with that group. Just a kill it and make it quit moving attitude!! Very few butcher shops to buy meat from in the heart of Africa I'm sure. -
??? for you / ALMOST DOVE TIME! yeee ha
muledeerarea33? replied to hoghntr's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
That gun laying in dirt is like fingernails on chalk board my friend! 😩 got checked by border patrol once on a pond off I-10. They snuck up like I was a criminal! "Sir put your gun on the ground!!!" I said "no, it's a nice shotgun, I'm gonna lean it on this tree" they were mad but respectful. Just looking for some wets that had been reported there recently before I showed up. Never put my shot gun on the dirt lol. -
Aka, you've seen posts about people saying "it only took one box of ammo" from this year?? Were they bear hunters or varmint hunters? I'm not aware of any other rifle hunts going on yet? Although maybe there is?
