Humane society has a program that spays and neuters for free. They clip an ear to indicate it's been fixed. I've been getting all my cats from work. They usually last a few months but a few stick around for a couple years. Out where I'm at they're useful for keeping the rodent, big, and snakes under control. And they can't repopulate.

If you have onstar (mostly GMC vehicles) it's worth the money to buy some minutes for making calls. I've called out in places that no phone gets service. Basically a built in sat phone. If you don't have it then I'm no help lol.

I missed last year entirely with my wife being sick, I tried a few hours of quail hunting and calling but felt bad. Now she isn't any better but thing have stabled out and we have a schedule now. It lets me take 5 days for turkey hunting in 27!! I'd like to kill one but if I don't I'm ok, atleast life is almost back to normal for now! I'm looking forward to being away for 5 days in the woods!! And yes I'll take secret spots haha!! But I'd rather just hunt and enjoy normal life!

And I'm not even complaining about paying for schools on my property taxes when I don't even have kids.
-
What are those ways? Again, I said I don't support the prop, but am interested in how others think we should increase school funding. And what crap are you suggesting they cut? Remember state trust land is not intended for your recreation, it's intended to fund schools. We get to use it in the mean time, but the whole point is to sell it at some point. Unless of course we as sportsmen valued it more than some developer. Then we could put our money where our mouth is and pay to use it. You know, since it is designed to provide funding for schools. you've already answered your question. The crap I would cut is everything you've posted. law suits, not spending money where it should be spent, debating over transgendered bathrooms, hiring superintendents for hundreds of thousands more than they're worth, yes kids are gonna come from different backgrounds, education levels, language skills, and parenting. I wish it weren't the case and I wish the higher ups wouldn't throw all the responsibility and blame on the teachers but as the saying goes "wish in one hand and crap in the other, see which one fills up faster" fact is the money isn't spent appropriately and it's hurting the youth. I realize what trust land is for but if the money was managed then this prop wouldn't be needed.
-
Prop is a bad idea. It'll take away trust land that will be sold for developments or traded for other lands. There's other ways that the schools can get money, cut the crap and teach the subjects.

Imagine taking a selfie next to your sick pet that you had to shoot! That's sick and twisted!! I don't use vets to put my animals down, I do it myself. It's hard but I do it. "Trophy hunting" which is a bad word is done because the money goes to helping the herd and villages (assuming he's only referring to Africa hunts) and when it comes to elephants, only the old one who aren't good to the herd are allowed to be taken. I wish people could understand the entire situation instead of being one sides.

This news story is more poetic with more info. It seems every day I read about it the story changes. Hadn't hear about the cat, she's from Phoenix or from Tucson, two different reports? Cibeque? "near by community" near by to what?? The chevron on the res closed years ago! First the help sign was sticks, now it's bleached elk bones! Did she kill an elk and eat it for tomorrow's news, maybe carve a tooth pick from a ponderosa? The comments under the news story are great.

I think your scared that you might like the big D and no I don't mean Dallas! Embrace it bro.

I'm far from Phoenix, love mesquites but palo verde can all die as far as I'm concerned. Water isn't an issue (for now anyways) I'd love to have my whole place like a hardwood forest but just starting this year. -
I'm about the 4500-5k elevation zone 7-8? In need of a few non invasive shade tree recommendations. Considering Arizona ash, and Ray wood ash. All on the west north/west side. They'll be getting a lot of the afternoon heat. High temps are 103 and low winters are 0 to teens. They'll be planted 50' or more from leach lines but close to waste lines. What do you all got? I could post this on the "2016 elk hit" thread but it seemed to lose steem lol
