I'd shoot it cause it's metrosexual purty, other than that I have no usable input.

Recycling cans and plastic bottles

I had no idea plastic was a cash crop. I've been doing aluminum for years. Is it any plastic bottles or specific types? -
Anyone else heading to the high country?
muledeerarea33? replied to Allforelk's topic in The Campfire
I swapped a RTA96C-14 into my gmc. It's got more power than most small towns use. -
Nice! I've never thought of that when I see mud in a dry time of year. I made one at my place though. Hose bib drips and I'm too lazy to replace it so I dug a hole and the hose keeps it full. Deer, birds, javelina, rabbits, and dogs are what I've seen drinking there but I have bobcat tracks as well.

At least you got to destroy it yourself, rare opportunity

Original or not it is a really pretty gun! But I'm confused now so I'll back away quietly. Not sure who's right or a value but it's beautiful either way. Good luck with the sale.

Cherry Creek Road FR 203 Permanent Closure
muledeerarea33? replied to arizonaelkhunter's topic in The Campfire
so you'll walk 10 miles to get to where you used to drive? Then walk 2 miles to your old hunting grounds? More power to you. If it closed then you'll only need to walk half that. -
I love my slumber jack cot! Works good half the year. The cold half though it's not good (like most cots) if your not in a tent with a heater. I don't have a heater and I prefer the truck to a tent. Lots of heat loss undeneath with a cot unless your in an environment with heat, either way the slumber jack is an amazing cot and I'm bigger than most regular people but still sleep good.

So if I'm reading the NM regs correctly I can't put in for an antlerless elk tag being a non resident? Or I can put in but its the same cost as bull (either sex) option? the cost would be the $65 license fee plus $548 tag fee? trying to research for next year thanks.

Blue grouse hunting in AZ

TRK, silence is better. I know how you feel. Won't say anymore but it's already on the inter webs for life. Say nothing and nothing happens, speak and people listen. -

I got my father in law asking a few neighbors about some land owner tags. He's been trying to get approved to get tags for his land the past couple of years with no luck yet. I wasn't aware that those units were like gold until I started looking into it.
-
Haha quality Antlerless? Oxymoron? I never did find out the difference, had to go back to work lol
-
I googled for landowner tags in 15 or 16 (where my in laws live) and didn't find any cow tags, bull tags yes but I can buy several whole beefs for what their asking.
-
just like U.S currency, they will print more.
-
website says $347 antlerless and $782 for quality antlerless, looking up what the difference is now
-
I saw a guided private land cow hunt for $1400 plus fees, not sure if the fees are the tag and license or just the license. I'm just looking for a meat hunt.
-
It's a salvage tag, not tied to hunting at all
